She got spanked hard with that Biden selection, pretty sad combo.

The funny thing is there are a lot, I mean a lot of women who are p*ssed off at this. Reading some of the feedback on the NOW sites, there is some really vicious statements being made towards Obama. If there are any indications from the backlash from towards Kennedy when he endorsed Obama, than we may see a larger Obama loss in November.

Remember you Hillary Supporters the republicans do more to advance women and minorities in the world than the Dems, vote for advancement, not the status quo.

Obama picks Biden, but what if McCain picks a women?

OH wouldn't that be a kick?

How about a black woman? One with real world business/military experiance? It would even be better if she speaks Spanish. The Repulicans need to continue the policy of out-minoriting the Dems. They have been doing a pretty good job of it, that is for sure. Layoutshooter

Apparently charisma wasn't on Barry's list of VP qualifications. I recall, some years back, Biden totally ripping on a reporter that asked a question he didn't like. He came off as very petty. For a politician, his ability to deflect seemed very lacking.

Biden is a well known "loose cannon." Obama will allow Biden to do a hatchet job on the Repubs at every turn. I read Biden's biography by Ben Richard Kramer during the 1988 election cycle. As I remember, Biden was described repeatedly as a mean, petty, foul-mouthed, arrogant, condescending man. Perfect attack dog. He brings nothing else to the table.
Delaware has a whopping 3 electoral votes and is a reliable Democratic state. So nothing gained there.
McCain would do well to shore up his conservative base with an excellent V.P. pick. Not some mamby-pamby type like Huckabee or another Dan Quayle.
If McCain wants to attract female voters, Rep. Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee comes to mind. Or Kay Bailey Hutchinson of Texas. Not Condi Rice, she has done nothing in 8 years as Secretary of State.

Yeah she really has done nothing as Sec. of State over the past 8 years. Mainly because she hasn't been Sec. of State for the past 8 years. I guess you forgot about Colin Powell holding the post until Bush hung him out to dry in front of the Senate and he resigned.

I wish I could have seen the look on Hillary's face when she found out she didn't get picked as the running mate. I think Obama screwed up.

Ark... your'e right . I forgot about Colin Powell. I am wary of bureaucrats who gladly serve in both Democratic and Republican administrations, as Powell did. You can never tell where their allegiances will take them. I suspect Powell may endorse Obama this time around.

I don't know. Powell served as Chairman of the Joint Cheifs of Staff under the first Bush I know. Don't know about Clinton. He has always seemed to me as a man for the country not a particular group. I am sure he has had quite a few dealings with McCain over the years. I doubt he has with Obama. So I am sure he will make an educated choice. He doesn't seem like the Oprah Winfrey or Tyra Banks type that lets race cloud their judgement. All this time Oprah says she isn't pulling for him because he is black. I think we all know that's a bs lie.

I don't like Colin Powell. He has said on many occasions that taxes are too low in this country. He also does not believe that the Second Amendment gives us the right to own guns. He sounds more like a liberal with his "loose" interpetation of the Constitution. He is into big government and control of the people. I don't think he believes that the people should control government, he believes that government should control the people. Much like Obama. Layoutshooter
