One thing is certain, the ones banging the "climate change" drum the loudest also seem to have a heavy financial interest in its promotion.
Absolutely. Any scientists who come out with data showing it's not human induced will receive no more funding for human induced global warming studies.
The problem is we know so little about local climates, and even less about global climates. A butterfly flaps its wings in China and it rains in Central Park. They don't know why. Thus far each and every "scientific" prediction of the climate change have not come true. Not one. The Earth has warmed since the 1970s, and since the Industrial Age, that much is for sure, but it's a fraction of what these scientists predicted, with high accuracy and confidence. As a result of their error, they are even more confident now that it's all due to human influences.
Another problem is the most abundant greenhouse gas, and the one that has the most effect on the atmosphere, is water vapor. But, because humans can't control water vapor, they completely remove water vapor from their calculations.
Another serious problem for the human-induced (anthropogenic) global warming argument is the fact that over the same period that Earth has warmed, due to the actions of man, so have the other planets and moons in our solar system. That's a real problem for adherents of the Anthropogenic Climate Change religion. And it has become a religion in every sense of the word. Theories and beliefs are put forth as truth, when no evidence exists. Junk science gets used to prove their theories by using little more than additional theories to prove their theories.
NASA, who's official position is that of anthropogenic global warming and climate change, because that's the position they are paid to take, also keeps releasing studies that controverts their position. And it's amusing how they present it. It's almost with a wink, wink. One of the latest studies, which confirms several others, is that over 400 years of observable sunspot activity and the corresponding global average surface temperatures, is that the data of each exactly mirrors that of each other. They concluded that solar variation has made the most significant significant impact on the Earth's climate, and that the evidence for climate changes based on solar radiation can be directly traced back as far as the Industrial Revolution.
Solar activity increased dramatically over twentieth century, and corresponds precisely to the increased surface temperatures we have measured over the last 100 years, as well as the global temperatures of other planets in our solar system. The useful thing about the studies is it establishes benchmarks for
past activity, which can be used to explain current activity. Notably, this would explain the cooler spell we have been experiencing over the past few years, as solar activity has dropped off somewhat, corresponding exactly to those cooler temperatures. Anthropogenic Global Warming theory cannot explain such trends in the data. Those who dismiss the data are using religion to do so.
