Cell Phones And Intelligence Agencies

This is what caught my eye. leaving security flaws in place so
they can be exploited by security agencies. i would be inclined to think that rouge hackers could exploit these flaws as well. Probably faster to boot.

" Add to this the fact that Microsoft and others have allowed intelligence agencies early access to security flaws, allowing them to exploit these for a certain length of time before informing the public and patching the holes. Add these two together and you've got the means and the opportunity to serve snooping malware to millions of unsuspecting cell phone users."

I think it's great that the NSA monitors, analyzes and stores our cell phone information and is able to pinpoint our cell phone's location. Recently I showered at a truck and destroyed my phone in the process. Usually I remove all items from my pants pockets before showering. Somehow I neglected to remove my phone. I added a small amount of Tide detergent to each pocket and hopped into the shower.

It wasn't until I had finished showering, while ringing out my pants that I noticed my phone in one of the pockets. It must have been the combination of water and Tide that killed my phone. I bought a new phone but the Verizon phone technician was unable to retrieve my stored phone numbers and apps. She suggested I call the NSA, which I did. Within 5 minutes the NSA had downloaded my complete phonebook, all apps, plus my web browsing history for the past 90 days. Thank you NSA! My only complaint is the small "Obama In 2016" banner that runs across the bottom of the screen.

If I should ever lose my phone, I know I can count on the NSA to find it within minutes. The NSA is the big brother I never had. Thank you for watching over me and protecting me.

Yes I too am glad that the NSA is watching over us, I just wish when our phones are left unpatched and our information and Identities are stolen by hackers , that the NSA, or CIA, would send a few drones after the thieves.

Next time I get myself lost [being somewhat geographically challenged and even more directionally illiterate] I'm just going to call the NSA and ask them where I am. ;)

You may not have to call the NSA, they probably already know when you are off route and lost, and call you.
