These guys are a joke! I guess this is what you get when you have never managed or hired people....

Ok 1st we get Barry's Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood saying they need to "think outside the box" and tax us on the mileage:

National Surface Transportation Infrastructure Financing Commission

Then Barrys Press secretary Robert Gibbs sayes that ain't goin to happen:

LaHood's talk of mileage tax nixed - White House- msnbc.com

Then we get the secretary of Energy sayin he has no idea what Barry's policy is on opec and the oil policy....I mean come on, what is the Secretary of energy suppose to deal with?

On Wednesday, when approached by reporters after a speech to a group of utility regulators, Mr. Chu declined to offer an opinion on whether OPEC should cut production, saying the issue was "not in my domain." He later told reporters on a conference call that his response to the question reflected "more of my naivete than anything else."

RIGZONE - Chu Focuses on US Energy, Not What OPEC Should Do

This admin is proving to be a joke on more levels then carter has liver pills!!!!

Hey Sinaloa cowboy...Let me ask you: "What would Chef do?" You bite Obama's ankles time and time again. Criticism without a constructive alternative solution is just whining. Waaaaah!

We're already getting taxed on mileage through the levies we pay on fuel. If Chu wants to focus on US energy, here's a suggestion: DRILL HERE, DRILL NOW. If BHO wants to stimilate the economy and have some real productivity to show for the money spent, he should direct funding to allow us to develop our own natural resources - offshore, in Alaska, and for shale oil. In return for these dollars spent we would get tens of thousands of permanent jobs and a giant step toward energy independence. But it seems like somebody has already mentioned this to the most liberal senator in the country just a few short months ago and the idea fell on deaf ears. Instead, he would rather throw away the taxpayers' money on Harry Reid's railroad and Nancy Pelosi's marsh rat.

Let's see, better solutions to the U.S. energy problems than Obama? Drill everwhere you can in the U.S. including all off-shore areas. Dig coal, use as much as we can both for electric generaton and making diesel from it. Make most vehicals sold in the U.S. diesel. Build more nuke plants. Start building methane "farms". We already know that we can produce methane in large quantities, we get tons of it off of landfills. What we call "Natrual Gas" comes from methane. So does propane. It is a renewalbe resource. Put small wind generators/solar pannels etc on every new building. Build energy production into the buildings. Retro-fit as many older building as possible. The large flat roofs of malls can be used etc. All new houses have to have energy producing materials put into the construction. Quit putting silly manadates on the auto companies to improve mileage. Moving to mainly diesel would meet allow the U.S. built fleets meet the 36mpg average today. Then they could and will spend thier R&D dollars on developing fuel cells or other means of moving vehicals. Require EVERY household to have heating and cooling plants that are at least 90% efficent. Outlaw all coal fired house heating plants. They are too dirty and there is not a practical way to clean them up. There, that is NOT whinning. All I here from Obama IS whinning, more taxes, punishment and blame. What we should be hearing is excitement. We are in a time where we could be doing wonderous things. I hear none of that. Get the government out of everything that we can. The answer to almost EVERY problem we have has already been invented or will be soon. Most of them in someones garage. What is the greatest resource in this country? Good old everyday AMERICAN inginewity!!! Just get out of the way and turn it loose!!!! Layoutshooter

Well, we all know what will come of his game. The problems we have took several hundred years to get to this point, they will not be fixed over night. We need to step back and do it right, for once. I really don't think the current resident of the White House or this congress can do that. It is not what they are after. Layoutshooter

Thanks Rocket, I bet if we put out the call zillions of useable ideas would pour out of garages. Some would be silly, much like those of government, some would be good and a few would be great. We have a population of over 350 million. Why is it that so many think that only about 700 people have the answers? Layoutshooter
