Thanks for all your comments! Appreciate the yeas and nays! Thanks to all my friends, both old and new....who caught up with me here.....we'll be in touch. Should be out of here tomorrow, they're saying. Will be good to go back to work and try to make up for our losses.
Just an update. Got an email from the seller who told me that he used Motorkote and there's supposed to be abnormal amounts in the oil analysis because Motorkote loosens up what already there. Also told that 150-200 ppm has to be reached to be considered abnormal???? Anyone out there savvy enough about oil to rebuttal this one? I'm not an oil expert, but I can read a giant "A" under a wearmetal reading, and then read the bottom of the page where it tells you what the "A" stands for. On the one, in my possession, it stands for abnormal.
Since I know he reads this column......we did NOT call your house phone at all. You told us you didn't get the call because you were in a lousy service area.....but my wife left a voicemail....and, ALL phones retrieve messages as soon as you get into a service area! No assassination of character here. Telling gospel truth! What I have in my possession. Nothing more, nothing less!
I AM to blame for not calling out the paperwork, but I used to believe in my fellow man (and fellow drivers).....but this has taught me one thing......never trust ANYONE when it comes to the mighty dollar....because they will do what profits them...no matter what. Shame about that one too....because I've only ever heard the devils' advocates say to me....."and you call yourself a Christian".......because I'm NOT the devils' doormat! Another thing thrown in my face....
Anyway, people! There's the latest.....and, if anyone can answer my Motorkote question, it would be appreciate it. I personally used the Motorkote in my other truck.....and never witnessed any increase in wearmetals......but then I do analysis every oil change....not random. Also told I probably ran the truck into the ground...implied I can't drive....oh well...Jesus and I know how I drive! That's all that counts!
