I see some with cool business cards. I'm considering on making some for us. How many of you have and use them and what do you put on them? It sure beats looking for a pen and paper (LOL like we go anyplace without them and a calculator) to give our number to someone. I find I like recieveing the business cards. I keep them in a special case and they are easy to find. I loose numbers on paper easier. (only sometimes, honest)
I would guess it has to clearly state your (our) company as an independent contractor ( or leased to FDCC) and what about the copy right?

I would think as long as you don't use the logo on the card you don't need any sort of copyright symbol. Something like Fedex X#### on one line should be fine. What you put on them is limited only by how many lines the card you choose allows and your imagination. People put whatever they like or have an interest in. I include the ARRL website as one of my extras. You can get 250 for just the cost of postage from vistaprint.com but they'll hope you either up the order count or buy extras like return address labels etc. and you'll get periodic emails of "specials".

We printed our own using Word. We put a picture of our truck on the card and our phone number and email address. We don't really use them as much as I thought we would but it's nice to have.

We print our own using Word. We use them when we have escort loads etc. Makes it easier to give the other drivers info. We keep cards we recieve in card files in the front of our contractor book. Don't forget to put Expeditersonline address on it and a email address. When people ask us about the business we direct them to this site and they have an email address to reach us for help. Yep all the above! On our cards we have a picture of the truck which gets the FedEx across, our phone numbers, email address, and yep our screen name for EO. They are great to give to escort trucks, to other drivers you meet on the road and also when at the truck shows to give to people you meet. Card stock is cheap and they really are easy to make on your own.

I used to get free business cards from vistaprint dot com and now there are at least a dozen companies that will print 250 cards for free. Shipping is about $5. I think one company only charges $3.50 for shipping.
