You could zig zag all over the road - NOT recommended :eek:

You could buy the rip over windshield covers - like they have in Formula 1 racing - VERY expensive :eek:

Clean windshield at every fuel stop - MOST recommended

I think bugs have a Kamikaze gene :D

Carry a spray bottle filled with window cleaner, other bug removal mixture or even plain water. When you are stopped, reach out the window and saturate the dead bugs on the windshield with the spray. Let them soak for a minute or two. Use your windshield wipers to finish the job.

This is not as good as physically getting out of the truck and washing the windshield but it is a nice short term fix.

I have installed Bug-Shields on different trucks in the past and

had good results.

It is well worth the money in my opinion.

I also agree in allowing cleaner to soak in for a minute;

During the warmer weather at a fuel island I will apply the

cleaner and let it soak while fueling, then re-soak and swipe

clean with the squeegee after fueling.

Most detailing shops will use window cleaner from an aerosol

can rather than the liquid type in a spray bottle.

The Castle brand is a good aerosol window cleaner and can

usually be found wherever automotive paint is sold.

We use invisible glass by stoner products. Works great. Spray it on when you fuel and wipe it right off.
