Boycott the inauguration

I will not be watching the leftist takeover of our country on Tuesday. No television that day, except maybe the Weather Channel. There is no joy in Muddville. Go outside and play with the kids, build a snowman, read a book, organize the sock drawer.... anyone with me?

I won't be watching any of it. If I feel an uncontrollable desire to puke I'll just stick my finger down my throat.

I suspect there will be a nationwide phenomena of gagging and puking on Tuesday. Change is coming. A change from which we may not recover.

CHANGE and HOPE are coming:

CHANGES like openly gay recruits being welcomed with open arms into the military; captured terrorists will no longer be forcefully interrogated (if we're nice to them, they'll be nice to us); those who don't work and pay taxes will get a check from the govt; health care for everyone, courtesy of the US Govt; et cetera, ad nauseum, from the most liberal and most unqualified individual ever to hold the office.

Let's HOPE we can survive the next four years without another major terrorist attack or complete financial collapse.

Almost all of this is going on with the current administration.I guess i dont understand why everyone is so worried.Take a look at the past 8 years we have gone down and down.Bush is the most hated president ever.He has the lowest approval rating out of any prez.Im looking at things with a open mind that it cant get any worse we are darn near the bottom thanks to the bush administration. But if everyone goes into this with the a bad attitude then we may ge bad results.I for one didnt like either party that was running but it is time for change.....We couldnt keep going with bush's adm ideas another 4 yrs.

I agree with Thunder on this 100%, you can't improve the mess we're in with just negative
feelings.
When Bush was on his way to his inauguration his motorcade was egged and people protested to the point that the motorcade had to speed away to protect the president.

I for one voted for Obama and apparently a lot of others felt the same as I do and I believe
that he was the best candidate and still do.

If McCain had been elected I would said oh **** and then waited to hear his suggestions on how to get through these hard times, we have to stand with our leader and support him
no matter who it is.

But I'd never work myself into a lather bitc...g about it as some do, I want to wish those that are upset best wishes and to let them know I did my part in voting and I'll do my best
supporting my President.

Hey Pilgrim, you need to get with the times! Gays have been accepted into the military for years now! Can't blame that on Pres. Bush. Millions have been getting a check from the gov't. for years, it's called welfare. Health care for everyone? Is that a bad thing? If I remember correctly the "Arkansas Reject" Clinton promised national health coverage for everyone! He didn't promise it once, but used the 'tool' to get elected TWICE!! I hope ya'll are enjoying your Clinton constructed national health care for every American. The only reason he got anything done was because he had a democratic congress......
I wonder what would of happened if we, this country, would have experienced a "911" when he was in office. He'd of slathered around wondering what to do.
No, the fiinancial mess this country is in can't be put entirely on Bush.....it's called simple American Greed, plain and simple.
I could go on forever, as I"m sure everyone on here could. Just remember, and I"ve said this a MILLION TIMES...........THE PRESIDENT, NO MATTER WHO IT IS, CAN NOT SPEND ONE SINGLE DIME WITHOUT CONGRESS APPROVAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I for one will be watching the inaugeration. Why miss a chance to witness history!!
And I will support President Obama. Like it or not he will/is our next President.
United We Stand, Divided We Fall!!!

I will support my nation and my Constitution and all those who also support it. I will not support those who attack my nation and Constitution. I sincerely hope to be proven wrong by Obama by him doing a good job. I sincerely doubt there's any chance of that. I'm not talking about getting past the greed crisis and getting our financial house back in order. The economy lives and moves on it's own to a significant degree and will be doing that. I'm talking about protecting our Constitutional rights. I'm talking about protecting our sovereignty. I'm talking about protecting our very existence as a nation. Those are the areas where "change" will only be coming toward the negative.

The refrain "making history" is so over used and misapplied. Nearly any event can said to be making history. History can be good or bad. The Holocaust made history and we all recoil at its horror. In fact, there is more bad history than good history. We humans have an abysmal record with regard to how we have treated our fellow beings.
However, the hype and hysteria surrounding this inauguration is irrational beyond comprehension. Not since 1930's Germany have we seen such adoration for an unproven neophyte.
It's too late to reverse things now. Obama won fair and square and he will be the next president. Nevertheless, I am profoundly opposed to leftist politics and consider their ideaology to be a threat to our way of life. I fear after Obama's tenure is up, we will be the United States of America in name only. My allegiance is to the Constitution, not to any man or office. We survived the Clinton years and will survive the new administration. I will go about my daily life as a member of the loyal opposition with a wary eye toward Washington,DC. You will not find me amongst the legions of millions who swoon and faint at the mention of Obama's name. We are entering uncharted territory with this roll of the dice.

You'd have to wipe out what? About a 100 years of U.S. history to get back to square 1. About when the 1st politician took a campaign contribution. IF the government hadn't waggled around the Constitution and made a mess out of it....they didn't enforce the laws..mostly out of greed...the almighty dollar....to where we now have an aborted system that is so corrupt that nothing short of wiping out every politician down to the county seat would be necessary.

Obama is right about one thing....This country needs to change. A change back to the time when the common person mattered. A time when your vote counted.

Away with lobby groups and special interests.

Away with corporate sponsorships.

Give us the dream back. A time when a child dreamt of becoming the President.

Hope and change! People say, give him a chance, wait and judge him on what he does. Well let me tell you, i have no desire to give him a chance to impliment a socialist government, to add to the nationalization of or banks and industries that as already started.

This pos has no regard for our Constitution and has made that clear in his own words and with the "changes" he plans.. He has said our constitution is outdated, it is bias against certain segments of our population... He feels the need to Take from those that have and share what he takes with those that don't have.... He sayes He is going to provide jobs.. Please tell me other then jobs within the government sector , just how does the government provide a single job?

I won't watch this inauguration and the circus that it has already become and i will not support this man as the president. I'll support our nation and its Constitution, whats left of it......

The only thing we (those that see osamaba for what he is) have going for us, is the fact that we have soo much debt right now ad that economy is as bad as it is, he may not get the chance to enact even half of the crap he said he would. That being said, when all of those that voted for him thinking he was the savior will be throughly jerked off that we just might see him fold like a house of cards.

You think we have a economic mess now, wait for this jerk water idiot to add his deficient spending....Yea bush was bad enough at it, but osamaba has already said he will continue it, lol the dems screamed bloody murder each time bush added to the deficient, lets see what they do now.......

Watch history be made, yea i guess you can call it that, the 1st president with a socialist agenda... Thats history all right, maybe the Lions will win the Superbowl this yr too, they have another new coach......

I'll be watching. I'll be watching very close. The alternative is nothing more than sticking your fingers in your ears, closing your eyes, and yelling, "La-la-la-la-la-la."
Oh, I'll be watching.

We survived the clinton years....lol if i recall the unemployement was way down,Housing values where up,the average american was making about $2000 to $3000 more a year then they make now,our country had a surplus of money instead of being in debt and the list goes on.So if thats surviving the clinton years then heck yeh i will do it agian. But if you just look for the bad things in someone then thats all you will find.Once agian it cant be worse then having another George bush in office or George Mccain or sorry John.If a system works then i believe in dont fix it if its not broke. But we all know the system is broken and needs fixed. It would have been really hard getting any done if we would have ellected a man who supported 95% of GB issues. That would have ment we would have had another GB in office bottom line.

Answer me this about "God Clinton"........why when he was in office were most military families eligible for food stamps?????? That's a fact!!!!!
How can someone hate a guy and say we're all headed for hell before he even takes office?
I guess whatever we read in the media is to be taken as gospel...........
I will give Pres. Obama a chance..........I'll support him 110%. Now Congress and the Senate?? Send them all to Russia and elect new officials.
Come to think about it, with the opinions on here, the ones that think this is going to be such a bad thing and have all the ideas, last I heard, anyone can run for office, but I don't see any of you doomsayers elected to anything.......Here's your big chance, run for office!!!

!

It is bad enough that you make an extremely false statement about the military and food stamps, you have to further try to support your baseless statement by emphasizing it as factual.

It is sad that our congress has some of the very junior paygrades at a point of poverty, but much of their dilemma stems from the junior enlisted folks starting a familiy when they are not in a financial position to do so.

Things are a little better today. An E2 with 1 year of service, a wife and one child will receive a cash total of $33,909.00. Factor in a tax advantage due to some non-taxible income and the compensation is equal to $35,355.

While in Boot camp, Aristotles son is receiving about $1300 a month, plus room and board. Now that's a fact!!!!!
