Listen up, Every since OBAMMA has secured the Demo Presidental Candicy all I here in Truck stops is crap about having a Black man for President.

Let me tell U all somthing that happend not so long ago.

I was in the Mess hall with my Best friend who Is Black His Name is Mathew Chavis, I called him Chew as a nick.

In any case it was Black History Month and all the People were going over there Heritage from Africa well let me tell you somthing, Mathew Chavis stood up and said What the Hell are U people talking about, How can U claim Africa as Ur Heritage as they sold our great great grandfathers to here.
He fruther stated that he would never claim Africa as his heritage and that Black or not he was an American not an AFERO American. Again He said he was an AMERICAN not an African American. After he stated that to them U could have herd a pin drop in the Mess Hall. NO ONE and I mean NO ONE said a word then He said to me Lets get outa here these people I feel so sorry for them. They cling to somthing that brought hurt to their Kin folks.
When we walked out he said Kevin U and me are a Team it doesnt matter what color I am or what Color U are does it.
I said Nope. We High fived each other and Went about our business.

My Point is it dont matter to me if I have a Black President or white President.

What matters is the Person stands for the people not big business.

What matters is that person is for US. Black or white or Yellow or red for that matter I dont care.

In Truck stops I here it all the time If he gets in what will happen ect.

Im so sick of people clinging to that old clashay of Racism in this country.

The way I see it there is only one way to put a stop to
Thus , everytime I here that old familure clashay I let em know I wont tollerate it or stand for it.

Skin color is nothing more than genetics and pigmentation. It has nothing to do with who a person is. My dad taught me that lesson many years ago. There are very very few (nationality)-Americans in the U.S.A. as those are people with official citizenship in this country and another country. In this case they would be Ethiopian-Americans or Angolan-Americans or Nigerian-Americans but there is no Africa in Africa. The closest they'd get is South African-Americans.

Mexican-American, African-American, Vietnamese-American and any other hyphenated naming is a tool to perpetuate division and discrimination. It has nothing to do with maintaining a sense of heritage and a pride of heritage. They're all multi-generation Americans for the most part.

The supreme irony is that those who keep alleging discrimination, are the same folks perpetuating it. Do you think that Jesse Jackson or Al Sharpton could ever admit, even just to themselves, that a white candidate is better qualified for anything than a black candidate? That won't happen, methinks.
Voting for a candidate because they're black, or white, or female, or any other description besides the most qualified, is just ignorant. Talk about wasting your vote!

Racism exists not just here, but in every country on the planet, and to one degree or another in every person on the planet, you included. It's in the genes. It has to do with preservation of the species. You really don't have a choice in the matter. In order to not tolerate it you'd have to be in a position to tell others how to act, think and feel, which is exactly what happened with civil rights legislation and things like forced integration, and we see the harmony that has resulted from that. People like things that are familiar, they are comfortable with the familiar. People of like ideas will congregate, just as people of like races will congregate. Same with dissimilar people who are in a similar situation. It's the natural thing to do. When you force dissimilar people together it never works out. Never.

On the campus of UMass, for example, they have a new defintion of racist, and it's not even close to the one you'll find in any dictionary. A racist is "someone who disagrees with a member of the Asian, Latino, African, or Native-American race" or "someone who is winning or has won an argument against a person from ALANA." And you'll get in trouble if you voice that disagreement. As absurd as that sounds, it's real, and UMass isn't unique, as essnetially the same defition is used on many cololege campuses and in may workplaces. Just like liberals think that when you disagree with what they say, you are somehow trying to limit their free speech, now when you disagree with someone of another race, you're a racist. Anyone else see the irony that such political correctness actually squashes free thinking and free speech?

The world is changing faster than the genetics can adapt, and while race isn't as important anymore for the preservation of the species, you can't force the genetics of different races to act as if there are no differences, because there are. And they are even more pronounced when you bring the issues of race into politics. Things like forced integration tried to make everyone the same, and the backlash has been that people of all races have taken a step back to say, "Wait a minute, I AM different," because they have an innate need to be an individual, but within the comfortable confines of the familiar. So, they balk and re-congregate with the familiar and rebuke the different.

Because of the backlash in trying to force people to do things they weren't ready to do, the result is that racism is, in many ways, more pronounced (and more ugly) that it ever has been. Your friend's public tirade is but one of the countless things that have to take place in the scope of natural evolution of racial divides, as it was one small incident that probably made a few people begin to think differently and certainly added to the life experiences that will move us towards a less racist planet. But make no mistake, as you two left the building there were people that under their breath said, "Oreo." Old habits die hard, and it'll take many generations for it to happen.

Anyone who remembers the OJ trial and saw blacks partying in the streets after the Not Guilty verdict of a black man who was laughably stone-cold guilty will understand that a black man for president is no small thing in this day and age. If Obama or any black man becomes president any time soon they will have a very perilous path to navigate. Othewise, the backlash, from both sides, could be significant.

By the way, it's cliché, not clashay. A cliché is a phrase or idea that has been overused to the point where its impact or novelty is gone. Racism is not a cliché.
