Nope his lie wasn't about illegals getting healthcare coverage...well yea he lied about that, but he lied to his own party and the citizens of our country...and he knew he was doing it!!! Oh and it is going to cost EVERYONE in the country more... even those he said he wouldn't raise taxes on!!!

I don’t know, psychologically, what it is that compels a man like Barack Obama to systematically throw under the bus every person who helps him. But he has done it again.

This will have devastating reprecussions for the House Democrats. Having pushed as hard as they could to get Cap and Trade passed in the House, the United States Senate has blocked consideration of the legislation until, at best, next year.

In a just released memo from the White House that was actually prepared months ago, turns out the White House knows cap and trade will amount to a massive tax increase on middle class families.

The Obama administration has privately concluded that a cap and trade law would cost American taxpayers up to $200 billion a year, the equivalent of hiking personal income taxes by about 15 percent.

A previously unreleased analysis prepared by the U.S. Department of Treasury says the total in new taxes would be between $100 billion to $200 billion a year. At the upper end of the administration’s estimate, the cost per American household would be an extra $1,761 a year.

A second memorandum, which was prepared for Obama’s transition team after the November election, says this about climate change policies: “Economic costs will likely be on the order of 1 percent of GDP, making them equal in scale to all existing environmental regulation.”

Barack Obama has known since November of last year just how devastating his cap and trade legislation would be and he didn’t bother telling Congress.

But what is more troubling is that he knew how much harm to the economy cap and trade would do in a recessionary period and he still chose to pursue the policy.

What does that tell you? The man, facing a devastated economy, chose to pursue a policy he knew would hurt it even more.

Whoever is President of the United States is not dumb. You cannot be dumb and win the Presidency. But you can be malicious and you can lack good judgment. I am beginning to think Barack Obama has both characteristics.

This is all old stuff. We already knew he was going to go down the FDR path of recovery and economic prosperity when he was elected.

Did you know that Under FDR we never had real growth? I am not talking about the war, that was a situation that beyond his control and our nation under any leader, even mickey mouse would have had the same shift in production to fight the war. During FDR's time, we never got out of the depression, and under Obama, there are signs that worry a lot of people who watch the economy professionally.

If the republicans get their cr*p together now, focus on what the people are worried about and stop with this fractured trivial pursuit of everythng Obama, they may win some seata in congress to shift the balance the other way. AND if they do, they need to change the house and senate rules and be ruthless to make this president a lame duck in his first term.

Yeap it is old , it was said by the Right that this was nothing but a TAX on everyone before it was voted on, but the fact that barry knew it and lied to both his party and the people is now in print with the disclousre of HIS memo....its out there for barrys supporters to see...and that is all it is about...he is a liar, he worked them and made them think he was their messiah and they fell for it....and now it is all coming back to bite them...and i am lauging my butt off....

As for the depression and FDR, hell no we didn't come out of it during his time in office...the war was going to happen, it just setup what we "take" as a recovery because people either went to the war or to work to supply the war...the recovery wasn't real economics at work, it was simply the outcome of a forced labor situation....

barry won't talk to the economist like peter schiff and others that see the true picture of what he is doing to the economy and in turn the people of our country...instead he has his minions and puppets like turbo timmy feeding him what he wants to hear....yes the really economist are worried they also realize that the stock market is going to go bust again and the housing market is going to implode again and tha commerical real estate is going to take a crap and the the banks are going to continue to fail at record #'s.....

Yeap its all good here in tha land of "hope and change".......

As for the republicans winning seats, i don't care if they do or not, right now as long as conservatives in either party can win and do the needed job, as long as the conservative dems don't toe the party line and do the work of the people......
