I'll say it again, no one is throwing any parties because of what OVM wrote, nobody said the recovery is over, get it through your head.

Instead of posting negative comment after negative comment here in EO maybe you should be reading those leaked documents so that you can inform us uninformed citizens here in the Soapbox.

Better yet, I think you need a vacation or maybe your company isn't running you enough and you have too much down time, either way you really need to get away.

Those "leaked" documents cannot be trusted. They are 100% the result of criminal activity. There is NO LEGAL way that classified documents can be posted on the internet. ONLY criminals commit crimes. Releasing classified documents is a crime. Criminals can NEVER BE TRUSTED. The person(s) that gave the group that posted them committed a crime. Those who received them committed a crime. Those that posted them committed a crime.

Criminals commit crimes for many reasons. Profit, to libel, to destroy. You can trust criminals if you chose too. I chose not to trust criminals. If they are willing to commit a crime there is no reason to believe that those documents have not been altered or edited. Criminals cannot be trusted. I worry about those who are willing to trust criminals and the fruits of their activity.

If what I posted on the economy seemed negative then the economy is not that good. I only posted the facts as they are. Sorry that offends you. When the economy turns around, and it will, I will post that too. That turn around will happen quicker without the government "fixing" things. The government helped to cause this mess, they cannot fix it.


I take my vacation during hunting season. We go back in service on Monday.

Getting back to the warm and fuzzy for a moment...

A couple weeks ago I delivered to a brand spanking new ZF facility in Marysville, Mi. A $700,000,000 dollar facility. As a life long Michigander it's nice to see that someone has that level of confidence in this state. I was unloaded promptly by 2 guys that didn't seem to hate their jobs. They were friendly, professional and actually seemed happy to be there.

What is a ZF facility? Where did the funding come from? REAL money or government hand outs? Just wondering. As a fellow Michigander I hope that plants like this are being built here with PRIVATE money. Those tend to do better and last longer. Just ask those who used to work at that VW plant outside of Pittsburgh that pulled up and left as soon as the tax incentives ran out.

ZF is the name of the company, an automotive supplier. The dollar figure was what one of the hi-lo drivers told me, so I can't vouch for the accuracy of it. Don't know where the money came from.

The money came from ZF and Chrysler before the fall ... oh and about $28M in tax incentives from the state with zero UAW investment. ZF owned the property, buying from Daimler-Chrysler a while ago.
