Hey Joe: random drug screens also assume you are guilty until you prove you're not - do you refuse to participate in those, too?
Leo: if the government ever chooses to prosecute anyone for rescuing a child being attacked, I promise you, there'll be one helluva backlash. Said prosecutor will be lucky if he doesn't get lynched - and I'd happily join the lynching, too.
To suggest otherwise is just fearmongering, plain and simple.

Well he said doing the right thing, Cheri. I believe that what he thinks is "the right thing" is not detaining and calling the proper authorities. It probably involes... well lets not speculate could you please tell us LDB. What is the right thing?

Cheri, you buddy Barry claims to being "wasted" for years as he put it. There is NO legal way to do that. Therefor he comitted multilple CRIMES. (I am not discussing the wisdom of pot being legal or not that is a no brainer) Those are facts. How does a welfare kid rasie money to support a drug habit? I have no reason to trust him. He is a man of little character. AS to my stopping someone from excersising thier rights, well, no one has the right to know what I own. They might ask but the answer will always be the same, NUNJA!!

The reference to "turning" people in is based on the entire history of the "left". It is not out of the realm of those who follow the left ideas to turn other for crimes against the state. Read the history of the snitching and back stabbing in the Soviet Union.

As to your smoking or not smoking I really have no need to know or even care about your past criminal behavior or habits. You don't pretend to rule me.

I have not been to a movie since Apollo 13 was in the theaters. I see no reason to go. The vast majority of what is out there today is pure garbage. The few I do watch I watch at home and only after I have vetted them for content. Very few meet my standards. Very few. I choose not to be insulted by what passes for most movies these days. Poor writing, bad plots, foul mouth actors with little talent. Not for me thanks. Layoutshooter

Calling Obama 'your buddy' is a perfect example of distorting the facts to suit your view, and calling the President Barry [among other things] is just plain childish.
I mentioned my own history of being 'wasted' merely to prove that your contention is flat out wrong - many people experimented with illegal substances, and then grew up and moved on, just as I [and Obama] did. That you didn't doesn't mean no one else did, or could. Presuming that your own experience is what everyone else's was, or should have been, prevents you from acknowledging any other viewpoints that are equally valid.

I watch very little TV for the same reasons. The sitcoms are beyond belief. Disgusting. Just bad one liners. No plots. The content is at the level of most 3 year olds. Layoutshooter

Barry does pretend to rule me. I don't trust him because of his backround. His associates etc. As to dopers being dopers. No different than all gun owners being right wing extremists. He has not shown me one reason to trust him and many why I should not.

Doug, If I have time tomorrow I will look up all those lists of guns that they want to outlaw. Many that everyday people own on on those lists. It will do no good though. You will just find a way to make fun of that as well.

We will NEVER see eye to eye. Never be friends and most likely will never even talk face to face.

I really no longer enjoy this conversation. The entire things saddens me but you would never understand why.

My life is very very different from yours. I most likely would never had hung around with you at any stage in my life. My values are vastly different from yours.
