Looks like a lot of others are kicking in. What do they know?

The company has been supported by $219 million in private funding from investors including Hudson Clean Energy Partners, Convexa Capital Ventures, Crosslink Capital and Firsthand Capital Management. It also received loans, tax credits and other incentives from the state of Oregon and the city of Portland.

Maybe they will get credits for participating?

Here is a shinning light:

"The federal money from the DOE will come later, upon expansion of our plant," said Chief Technology Officer Mustafa Pinarbasi said in an interview. "So the DOE invests no money until they can see that we are running efficiently."*

If they fail before they are able to expand it will save the taxpayers 197 mill.

Remember, Obama still has the pipeline filed away in his Things I'm Trying To Ignore file. These failures may put some pressure on. Maybe not.

It's not his money, it's your money, citizens' money. 3rd world country leaders do this all the time. Check out Africas former leaders, South America, Central America ,just to name a few. Most likely, but not always, you will find someones relative in charge at this company that has a relative in the W H or in the pipeline somewhere. It could have been the construction company on the White House Payroll. Rank and Priveledge anyone. PS- It won't last , never does. A company is not a company really unless its been out there over 7 years and that's still a maybe company when you consider our debt now. They ( the Obamas) are just living for the moment and there is no real foundation for them. First time Black President, gotta show off for the other colors out here, you think?

The government has NO business in business. It is not the function of government to determine what products we may or may not wish to buy or which services we may or may not wish to use. Those are choices that belong to each individual. PERIOD!
