You just may be right on that count. It has, in the last 10 years or so, became so obvious that even a "normal" Dumb-O-Crat should be able to see it. The "flamers" will NEVER see anything but LOVE for THE Scuz. Layoutshooter

Of course, this administration does not believe in or believe that he is bound by the Constitution. Layoutshooter
So whats the difference between a president considering restrictions on the 1st amendment and the organized press screaming that they need protections from the citizen press?
Remember Lincoln did something along the lines of stripping rights, and he has been a misplaced hero ever since.
Remember that freedom of the press does not mean that a newspaper can publish secrets that help the enemies. They don't have the right to operate above the common citizen and never have had that right. They protect less today than they did 40 years ago, the organized press has no country, no obligations.

"There was a lot of lobbying against it and it died," said Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., who proposed the measure with Republican Sen. Olympia J. Snowe of Maine. He said Obama's team is sending mixed messages on what will and won't be tolerated on bonuses, with the president coming out strongly against excessive Wall Street rewards but top officials not following through..."
It's shocking," said Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., the minority leader, that "the administration would come to us now and act surprised."
I don't like Obama.
