I don't care who is collecting from the "entitlement" progrms or their color or race, the benefits need to limited in time and amounts and also "asset" studied to allow all benefits to be "asset based"....
Beyond that, the vast majority of ALL entitlement programs need to be eliminated totally....no matter who is collecting from them...end the majority of the programs...It is not the governments place to provide finanical support for the people...

I think there is a need for welfare but it needs to be severely reformed. From qualifications all the way to time limits so it isn't be used as a long term career path.
As for more whites and the Republicans spinning information, it is only part of the picture. Groups that support or are sympathetic to minorities promote these programs through the MSM so that is why you have the public perception that exists.
If one is in doubt with that perception, one only has to look at what unfolded and how things were reported after and during Katrina.

i agree .
but where do you think the money from the eliminated programs will go . ?? will they go to help other programs . OR will they give it back to the tax payers . or would they find a way to put it in their own pockets .
so 500 people getting 500 a month isnt right . but 5 people getting 500,000 a month is .
