I will repeat what I said before - get the biggest van that carries most weight for this work.

Don't mess around with a 3/4 ton when you can get a one ton.

Listen to Greg !!!! As for a Sprinter, I'd love to have one, but the repair and maintenance expenses are a little too high for me, from what I am reading on here.

Yep listen to Greg I drive a 3/4 ton and wish it was a 1 ton, for one the 3/4 ton front end is weaker, I've rebuilt mine twice in 400,000 miles, While a Friends 1 ton is still holding up at 500,000 miles

One thing to keep in mind as far as how much room and weight capacity...you are limiting your ability to make money when you o shorter then an extended van or less capacity then a 9600 gvw srw van...also 48x48, 48x52, or any other sized SKIDS are NOT all you will haul...last week i had 1 skid 11 ft long 2 ft wide 2 feet tall, and weighted 350 lbs....I have hauler rail car iron "truck"...the thing that holds the wheels in place on train cars..they were 9 ft long and weight 3000 lbs between the 2 of them...it ain't just the wooden skids you will be hauling....

As greg said, get the biggest you can....
