I have two 2025 L6 trucks in rollback service and both seem to have unbalanced front tire wear. The left front tire is wearing notably faster than the right front, to the point that while the left front is nearing or at replacement (3-4/32) the right front measures 6/32.
Tire wear on the individual tires is comparable, slight outside edge wear on both, although even side to side. The trucks both track straight, and in general don't have significant indications of alignment issues. One truck has about 60K on it, the other about 100K. The higher mileage truck has been aligned and had tires replaced once.
Suspension and steering components are in good condition.
None of our older 258/268 trucks did this, even with 400-500K on them, although they were Low-Pro chassis with 19.5" wheels/tires.
Has anyone else noted this unusual wear pattern on these newer versions of the 258/268?
Thanks, Gregg
