2007 international 4300 leaking oil and miss fire.
I've seen this thread a few times on here.
My International has 294,000 miles. It runs great for the most part. Usually in the first hour of driving it will miss fire. It only happens city driving. Only happens in mower gear. Once on the highway is fine. No lights no smoke or over heating but it's losing oil. There is barely any where I park it and I never see it drip.
But when it rains it looks like it's spilling all over the road.
It looks like it's coming didn't fill above the oil filter.

The oil cooler is prone to leakage, it's part of the assembly that the oil filter screws onto. Best bet there is to clean everything thoroughly and then run it. You can add fluorescent dye to the oil and then look for the leak with an ultraviolet light while wearing yellow glasses. They sell this in a kit. It makes oil leaks very obvious.

Is the misfiring thing new or has it been happening for a while? In my experience, the injector(s) are often the culprit, but I've also seen the cam sensor contribute to an apparent misfire, and the relays that power the ecm can crap out, too.

Are there any codes in the ECU?
