    I take my physical Monday. I pass great I don't I find a new career. Thats how life is. I mostly just wanted to know why most of the bigger companies make you have a dot physical. I know there's some that don't. It's a why thing. :) Sent from my SCH-I545 using EO Forums mobile app

    Dot physical

    No I do believe just for vehicles over 26000lbs where cdl is needed. If it is not a cdl required vehicle no dot physical needed. Sent from my SCH-I545 using EO Forums mobile app

    Dot physical

    I know cya is always in force. Dot physicals are for larger vehicles 80000 lbs or over 12 passengers or other regulated vehicles. as the government ups the rules I wonder how many will be able to have enough drivers to run vans or sprinters. There are a lot of people who are healthy enough to do...

    Dot physical

    I don't deal with hazmat anymore but I do think it's a insurance thing. I do know some drivers that work for places that don't require a dot physical. I was hoping I would get some input from them. But thank you for your input. I do the dot physical next week and see how it goes. :) Sent from...

    Dot physical

    Does anyone know of any good companys that doesn't need a dot physical for cargo vans. I am hoping to pass mine at the end of the month and go back to Bolt but I need a contingency plan. Don't know if a new 4" surgery scar down the back of my neck going to give me trouble. Thanks :) Sent from...

    Quiting = no pay?

    Biggest thing Bolt has nothing to due with pay to a driver of a fleet owners truck. All Bolt says is weather they a qualified to drive for Bolt. Pretty simple got be careful of who drive for. Sent from my SCH-I545 using EO Forums mobile app

    Confuzing hazmat

    Two will be in trouble. The shipper and you for not following hazmat procedure. The shipper is required to put the proper weight and nomenclature plus highlight it. But the chance of a dot officer being able to tell you have 80lbs too much freight is hard to do with removing the freight. Which...

    Confuzing hazmat

    He is correct. Your carrier will have a class at orientation give you a cute little card and as long as you don't have a quantity that calls placards you are fine. The class teaches you what you can haul and what to stay away from. Everything in hazmat deals with quantity. You need to read the...

    Cargo Vanning in Sub-Zero Weather

    I use a Lil buddy heater I insulated my van and put in a liner kit. The hardest place to insulate is the floor. I put a moving blanket on the floor when it's 20 degrees or less. My van stays over 60 degrees at - 20 and I never have it above low. Sent from my SCH-I545 using EO Forums mobile app

    Penske Trucks being targeted?

    If greed sets in they will just run multiple books. If there is a rule someone will find a way around it. It's not right it's just the way it is. Sent from my SCH-I545 using EO Forums mobile app
