The end is near for windows 7

Did a free computer come with the download? The main problem with anyone running windows 7 is their computer can't run Windows 10 that's why most of the affected business PC's are still running 7, like myself. Hmm, maybe a government bailout is needed [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using EO...

The end is near for windows 7

Hard to say goodbye to updates? Seems Microsoft is having more trouble ending its windows 7 updates then planned. Other then a botched final update that needed updating.. Microsoft forced to create a free Windows 7 update just days after updates ended They are rolling out 3 more years of...

The end is near for windows 7

The end has come. RIP Windows 7 support and security updates. Oh what will I do now  I did find it interesting to learn that a estimated 1/4 of the world computers still run on windows 7 o_O I don't feel so alone now ;) But really, that's a hell of a lot of people using windows 7...

5 for sure with current setup, maybe a tight 6. Most likely would need to go with a flat flexible panel. Although, I doubt I will be adding more, I wish these flexible panels would have been out with I first started. Super light weight, 4 of them weigh less then 1 of mine

I guess since it's spring I can reflect on how the setup handled winter. Actually, I got so used to always having enough power, I forgot about monitoring it  What I do recall is only once did I ever bring the battery bank down to 50%, and that took over a week of sitting around...

Seems there is no roaming, that could be problematic, especially if your in Canada ;) But seems like a decent plan over all.

The end is near for windows 7

That's how I got this one, (locally), when my last one crapped out, saved a ton ;) Funny, I could have got one for about $20 more running Windows 10, but that's not what I wanted to run, and I already owned the Windows 7 software. He did look at me kind of strange over that decision

The end is near for windows 7

Being one of the last people who gives into upgrading a perfectly good system, I was not happy to see today that my old faithful Windows 7 will be coming to a end for support and upgrades. Since security will become a issue, I'll have no choice but to move up. Since I know my current desktop...

Update: Coming up on a month after adding 2 more solar panels. So far it has exceeded my "sweet spot" expectations for power. Having a thicker gage charging cable has also helped immensely for recharging while driving. Most days my battery bank is fully charged and running completely off the...

    Verizon 5G

I'm guessing a new phone is required to get the 5G. They seem to always find a way to get you to upgrade, even if you don't want or need to [emoji6] Since they stopped upgrading my iphone 5C, I've been thinking about upgrading. But, it still functions (most of the time haha). If and when the...

Solar Panel Transfer/add on project completed. Added a nice cable entry box this time around. Wish I would of known about that last time  Hook up was pretty easy. Much simpler knowing what to expect, the 2nd time around ;)

LOL, I took a break and they multiplied ;) Well that didn't take very long. Having the right screws sure helped  Waiting for the caulking and adhesive to firm up some before I start connecting everything. Don't want to get any stuff on my new cords, also refreshing my memory with...

Transfer, Add-on, and Epic Fail? I started my transfer of my solar panels to my new van yesterday. I'm adding 2 more solar panels for a total of 4 this time. Several months back, I added 2 more 12 volt batteries to my battery bank for a total of 4 also. The 2 solar panel /4 battery bank set...

    Bitten by the 4K bug

Entertainment upgrading. With my vacation coming to a close, I've had fun playing with some of my new toys. I haven't had a regular home TV for the last 3 years, choosing to watch everything on two large projector screens. 150 inch and 100 inch respectively. Has been great, but recently...

I looked into those. For the size I would need at around $700 compared to $128, falls into the same category as why I never had a Yeti cooler ;)

Updated final completion of control panel. Removed 400 watt inverter, added Xantrex battery monitor (which I highly recommend). Replaced 1500 watt modified inverter (not shown) for 1500 watt pure wave inverter (major difference). Two new batteries added. Also, added a cube fridge which I...

No, your not seeing double. As I pretty much planned from the beginning, installed my 2nd solar panel today. It was so easy to install and hook up the 2nd panel this time around. Maybe 30 mins from box to completion. I've been pretty happy with the 1st solar panel, just wanted some more...
