Been awhile since I've posted, but I'm still interested in being an Expediter

pearlpro, I agree with the living in cramped quarters though not a favorite aspect of my current career, it is a necessary evil when you have to figure out accommodate about 5500 people on one vessel. The main thing I was interested in learning is ya'lls opinions on how steady work is for both...

Well now that you mention it, I haven't brought it up lately, but retirement is approaching and she says to me "do what makes you happy" I enjoy driving and seeing the country, so I have been thinking either this or RV transporter, but back hauls in the RV world aren't so good from what my...

We were thinking Western OK, but I spent 3 years in central IN as a recruiter and saw quite a few expediters around mainly on the weekends, so I'm thinking she and I will need to revisit the idea of IN again. I'm originally from PA.

Daffy I was figuring solo, as the wife is a nurse and would rather not waist all of the money spent on her degree to ride around with me.

Been awhile since I've posted, but I'm still interested in being an Expediter

I'm just over a year from retiring from the Navy, and I'm still interested in this line of work. Though I've read through some topics and I am seeing that straight trucks seem to get more work than vans/sprinters. So my question for all you vets (no pun intended) is should a rookie jump right...

    New Battery Bank

Very nice turtle, your sprinter, is it a 2500? If so, with all the gear you have onboard, what effect does have on your load capacity? Very cool set up I'm taking notes! Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

Thank you, yes I am blessed, God is good, and the aches and pains are all here. Might have a hard time selling a CV/Sprint to the wife, that one was the family vehicle... It's a total loss too... Thanks again! Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    Sprinter 3500

I was looking at some other forums, (forgive me) but it appears in Europe, there is a super single for the 3500 Sprinter. I can't help but wander why they don't have these options here in the states? That being said if it was an optional wheel here in the great US of A, with a lil body work...

    Your Sprinter Sleeper

I read a story titled "My Million Mile Journey" this fella went a million miles in a 1999 chevy 3500 extended van, his motto was maintenance, maintenance, maintenance. The motor (350) lasted 900,000+. It was encouraging to read and informative as well. He was an expediter, and used Amsoil...
