I agree, it is ridiculous. But, it happens all the time. I don't know any of the details of how this stuff works but I would guess that the interest rate on one or both of those loans is astronomical and finance guy is getting a good portion of it for feeding the fire.

Yep, I love it. I usually bid cheaper myself and usually I just try for a 2-1/2 star (good enough for me usually). I wanted to be sure I got a good room, hopefully quiet, this time. I wanted to be sure I got a room too, so I bumped my offer up. This one fits the bill perfectly.
