    Be ware of the Petro in Atlanta, Ga

    Last year a tanker rolled over just down the street from that Petro when the driver lost control due to being hit in the face with bottle rockets . When the police arrived there was a crowd climbing all over the tanker and the driver had been dragged out and beaten .

    If you are driving your own truck and are found negligent you can be sued personally as the driver putting your personal assets at risk . Be aware if you form an LLC other states won't recognize it and will require you to file as a foreign LLC .

    If you get a CDL you'll have to run a log book . DOT will require you to log the hours on your regular job as " On Duty " hours which may not leave you enough available hours to make the runs you'd like to . You'd need a real pecise schedule to comply with the new HOS .

    One advantage Hino has that I didn't see mentioned was they have an unlimited mileage warranty . I believe it's for 3 years . I still think they need more service centers to cover OTR trucks adequately .
