If someone isn't allowed back, there is a reason. It is likely these driver(s) know why.

Certainly isn't common sense. They wonder why they are broke when they spend that kind of time on being the food police, lighters, guns, and the list goes on.

It is always amazing how these goofy stories get started. Straight from recruiting this morning. "That is NOT the policy". People can be hired back if they had a good track record and meet all the standard requirements. If they had problems, abandoned equipment, had issues with customers...

It may be they didn't want to rehire him.

Can't say I have heard that. I do know if they had problems with someone or a driver who runs between numerous fleet owners they won't hire them back.

Very true. That is why I said it may or may not be an issue. In this case since they are talking vans, it could be an issue. Since you have a straight, it may have little impact. I guess if you are "dying on the vine" you have to make those issues a non factor.

I would probably have a different approach since you are hemorrhaging with limited information either from your fleet owner or the company itself. I know little about van freight with C & M and it wouldn't matter, but if I had a van struggling or was considering them, I would want some specific...

Have to agree. Looking at that deadhead and where you are deadheading to, those are major concerns. I see both running in the red.
