    Easier to buy guns

It's not beyond you - some like to point to every thing Obama says as proof that he "hates America". They're like parents who don't believe their kid was in the wrong, when the school or police say so - it's the messenger that is at fault.

    Murder for trading cards

You have someone else in mind to make the decision?

    Politicly correct?

After the rash of hilarious [hacked] portable electronic signs, it was clear they're pretty easy to reprogram. I wonder if states have plugged the security gaps.....

    Moving up...

If you want to hear from people who moved up to a t/t, I think you need to find a different site - not many t/t people on this one.

    Easier to buy guns

If by "the fuher [sic" you mean the POTUS, it sounds like the brain capacity of a vegetable would be a step up.

    Easier to buy guns

"The idiot's comments"? Are you claiming that the proposed arming of teachers & school officials wouldn't result in guns being present in kindergarten? Or that the rejection of all gun control laws wouldn't permit machine guns in bars? BTW: the passive aggressive tactic of cryptic remarks is...

Would this apply to a Catholic nun?

That comment "I disagree with you, but I'm not big enough" is absolutely hilarious, when compared to your tagline, lol.

Time to sell the truck and move along

Rich & Joan: thank you for being part of this ridiculously varied community. I hope you will continue to contribute, while finding great satisfaction in the next chapter of your lives. :)

Time to sell the truck and move along

Only if you think they're planning to grow & consume a particular leafy green, lol. ;)

    Politicly correct?

My guess is the term includes road repair [pothole] vehicles as well as plows & salt shakers.

    Murder for trading cards

As you apparently can't comprehend the difference between simple human error and what you call dumb decisions [again, without knowing the first thing about the circumstances of any one of them], that's probably for the best.

Would this apply to a Catholic nun?

It's good to hear that the judge would have allowed the headscarf, but why didn't the security people know that? And the police chief is wrong to say it had nothing to do with her headscarf - it had everything to do with it. She went to jail because some officious security officer didn't know...

    Glass cleaner

If you're interested in cleaning products that are effective, nontoxic [no fumes to poison you], safe around pets, and inexpensive, look up The Clean Team, Jeff Campbell's pro crew of cleaners. They didn't like what was available commercially for cleaning, so they worked with chemists &...

    Murder for trading cards

Funny: pro death penalty and anti choice, both insisting that human error is acceptable in one case, but not the other. [If a woman gets pregnant because she forgot to take a pill, she should have a baby.] That makes sense, right?

    a few more newbie questions

They rarely "harass" us, [most times they are called by someone], but usually, they do tell us we need to move, due to store policy, city law, or resident's complaint. It goes with the territory.

    Murder for trading cards

How can you say that "an unborn child's life doesn't matter" when you know nothing at all about why any woman made the decision to terminate a pregnancy? Did it ever occur to you that it might matter a great deal, but she has to make a very tough decision, when a pregnancy wasn't part of her...

Would this apply to a Catholic nun?

The separation of church and state is not a talking point, it is an essential component of the freedoms we all hold dear. Allowing religion to influence government is a good idea - if you happen to practice the same religion as the majority. But times change, demographics change, and one day...

Would this apply to a Catholic nun?

So you're saying a nun should be required to remove her wimple [head covering] also?

    Job History

If everything else checks out, I don't see why it would. A red flag is a long period of unemployment, especially if one had been working as a driver - that looks suspicious. Short gaps are just part of looking for a job, usually.
