    Waitin' for the snow!

It would be two chains yes and a spare. Wa wants an extra incase a link breaks. A lot of guys carry chain repair kits with them. If your in the Mountains daily a repair kit comes in handy. Wa, Or, Ca Dot boys don't play and they will fine w/o batting an eye. If you crash and block a pass and...

    Waitin' for the snow!

That's not tricky at all. Washington truckers use drop axles on all vehicles grossing 90# or more. Drive axle is a drive axle period, drop axle doesn't have anything to do with chains. Not all expediters are straight trucks there are TT so don't know what your deal is with the lift gate...

    Waitin' for the snow!

I just got back from a local Wally World with ordering new glasses. Thought I would save some money. $550 later, I did not save any money. Well they added a set in Wa. It used to be 1 extra, now it's two extra chains. But I might ad nothing required under 10K.

    Waitin' for the snow!

Washington as well as Oregon require 1 extra set to be used as a drag chain. Those that don't know what that is it's for chaining the outside rear tire on the trailer. If you run doubles or triples in Oregon they want a drag for both trailers. Why? It helps keep the trailer straight while...

    Hello from central TN

As Skyraider stated. If your starting off and Vanning is what you want, step up to a Sprinter or Max 10gvw unit. I'n not talking about a cube, Ultra, Cargo Max etc. More room to RV in and carry freight. Upkeep and overhead the same as newer van or very close to it. Not only larger cargo area...

    Waitin' for the snow!

Ms. Kate is right on. I pulled triples for years in the northwest where three railers are the call of the night. Matter of fact several times a night. Supposed to drop the third trailer in bad weather but sometimes you think you can get through but spin out half way up the hill. In those...

    GPS flashing green arrows

I don't know how and had a Tom Tom unit till myself and one of my neighbors sent them back to the factory and told them to keep the junk. For some reason everyone I know that has had one has gone on a wild goose chase. Another words you never know where you'll end up. Good luck.

    Costs of Leaving Panther?

If I'm not mistaken your in a C/Van. If so I would consider the time of year it is. You might be slow now but a new carrier at the end of the year and not knowing their system might put you right back in the same hole.
