When Panther tells you to swap out. Who does the labor and where do you do it at?? If it's on a pallet and a fork lift is involved do you drive out of route to get it done at a designated spot and do you get paid for out of route miles?? How do you account for the delay in transfering loads...

I don't know what's going on with SC (I live here) but the I-20 scales west of Columbia on both sides have been huming with inspectors. West bound today had 12 inspector cars and east bound had 4. I did'nt know my state even had that many. Every one of those guys were inspecting trucks...

Wow. I first joined in 2003 but hardly ever joined in. I decided in 2011 I would join again and really pay attention to the information we get. I had to join again because I could not remember my pass word.

The 4.8 is a good engine. It only has 30 less hp than a 6.0 and about 200 less pds of torque. Geared right and tweeked it will run from now on.

A paper gas filter using ethynol gas has a white fatty looking substance in it. For fuel injected engines proper pressure is required for performance. A dirty filter reduces that pressure. It does not stick to metal so it doesn't hurt the pump. If you look at a small engine like a trimmer or...

Check inside the frame rail on the drivers side (follow the fuel line) and see if your chevy has an inline gas filter. Some do, some don't. Mine does. Change it. Most people don't bother with them but using ethynol you should change them at least every 6mo's. They are about $25 bucks...
