We got Bob a load directly out of Amarillo after he dropped in Amarillo but it was a broker calling as a result of him posting him there. Hopefully his carrier is as diligent at updating positions as we are b

Yea. The week started crappy for sure. Ask anyone. We jumped into a couple of loads we normally wouldn't have just to help correct the numbers.

East of the Mississippi wasn't very productive today for us either. But tomorrow is Friday. High hopes!!!!

Really? Eastern NC sucked today but western and SC had some. But then again no where near as many loads as trucks, I imagine.

A warm welcome to Mike (Fifaref2) and his Promaster to the Crossroads Express team!! Two more, add a dispatcher, train him in the CE ways & make it happen!! Welcome aboard Mike!!!! And then there were 7!!!

Or 3-4!!!!!!! The only time it ever matter where our guys live is after a holiday weekend when everyone is home. First in, first out. Taking trucks size into account. We don't dispatch around anyone that is ready to roll. Happy drivers make for recruiting that costs us $0. Right? Drivers still...

IMO, yes. Oh, and I bid when posting on EO. Bill is now booked for in the morning. :)

Everyone sits. It's part of it. And many of the posted loads, which is what we work with, go LTL or air freight. But we have developed quite a few relationships with some good brokers and carriers that broker freight. We don't need or want crappy drivers. Our 6 (current) drivers have worked VERY...

Thanks!! Since Sally & I act as dispatchers, I can confidently say that Crossroads Express' driver's dispatchers try harder per driver than any other expediting carrier I know. Hands down. But then again, if we don't, we go out of business. I wake up 4-5 times a night. And bid in loads. I...

    Van insulation

Yes. That and some self-tapping sheet metal screws made a very clean installation. But be sure to fill all the voids. Heat transfer is dramatic. Even through small areas.

If you're looking for ONLY backhauls, you're gonna have to sit for several days. If you're just looking for "the next load" there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with small companies. Is even BET that our guys sit on average less that most of the drivers with the big carriers. ALL.

$1.15-$1.20 per LDD mile is GREAT!! Unless you drive home.

    Van insulation

Thin for sure. Like 1/4" maybe? It's like panelling.

Some rodeos just seem to fall right into place. I will admit your 110x52x48 holds you back sometimes. But it certainly didn't cost you but a load or two this rodeo. That a great van, IMO. And those brokers that you guys keep seeing pop up on your loads going to bat for us REALLY helps!! Do NOT...
