Most of the time you go to the bottom of the list, which usually doesn't mean a whole lot.

That's understandable. I don't run cheap either. I have to make money too. It's a two way street in my book.

Maybe so, but I would take it and put 900-1000 bucks in my pocket and take John's 50 bucks and move to another area than stay in the colder regions of where he is located. Just sayin.:)

    GM Fuel Pump

That is only for the earlier 2000 model years. Can't remember what year they fixed that problem but you could only get about 150k of out one. My 2005 GM 3500 cutaway got 425k before first pump was changed and this was done before pump even went bad. Just got a little itchy. I think I paid...

    Inverter Generator

I have my setup just like xiggi's. I have the ryobi 2200 generator and have no problem with it. It only bogs down with you first turn on the ac and when the compressor kicks on to keep it cooling.

Emergency fund, where should you put it?

I have my settlement check direct deposited to my business checking account and just build it from there. I use a debit/credit card for all of my transactions. Makes it easy to do all business transactions and I can transfer monies from other accounts if I don't have enough to cover any...

    Night Driving Glasses

When I had my glasses, the frames I bought had a clip on pair of sunglasses made for this particular brand of frame. Clip ons were UV a and b protective. That's what worked for me for daytime driving. Never used the glasses mentioned in the OP.

    fuel card help

If I remember correctly I had a debit card from TAB (Transportation Alliance Bank). I don't know if they are still in business but I could load money from my Comdata card via comchek and my drivers had money available within 20 min. Didn't cost me a penny to do this.

    Canada Empty through Canada question

Sprinter. It still doesn't matter what type of vehicle it is, if it has freight on board you must have a manifest. No freight, no manifest.

    Canada Empty through Canada question

Must be a carrier thing. Over the last year I must of gone to Canada and back at least 50 times with no manifest when empty and no problems. I even came from Buffalo a few times empty and no manifest and no questions asked and I drive for one of the more known companies. The only time that I...

    Canada Empty through Canada question

I go to Canada quite often and never had to use a manifest when I go through Canada empty. The only time a manifest is required is when you have freight on truck.

At my walmart they don't stock this type of oil. Now I haven't checked in a while so maybe they have it. The only one in my area that stocks this type of oil is Pep Boys and their price is I think $12.49 per qt.

    Mobil 1 Oil on sale

For the month of June, NAPA auto parts stores are selling Mobil 1 Syn oil for $5.99 a quart plus tax. This even includes the oil for the Sprinters. The reason I know is I just bought 14 cases of the Mobil 1 Esp Formula M 5-40W at my local NAPA store. I've head the radio ad also and they say...
