Whenever I went out there, I never had a problem getting a load out. It might take a few days but to me it was worth the wait. By the way just run over to the closest In n Out burger joint. If you have never had one it's worth getting a double double.

What do you call short? 36 months or 100,000 miles I think is a typical warranty isn't it? That's what mine was.

Why would one want to carry heavier loads and beat up their vehicle for a few cents per mile? I don't play that game. Play hard yes, live smart yes.

Landstar requires 3 yrs experience in the last 10 years in the vehicle that you want to drive if I remember correctly.

Landstar uses Gallagher ins. out of KC.

Worked for them around 2000-2002 driving cargo van. Rates were .88 per mile loaded and mostly one way freight. A lot of deadheading. Seemed they tried to micromanage everybody to keep everybody at the say amount of money made each week. Not bad people to work for, i got all g with Rocco and...
