    Gay couple adopts 14 kids

Lets call it what it is. It is a promotional piece for gays that have a less than positive public perception with raising kids. Doesn't mean it is true, but it is there nonetheless. It is good that they stepped up and probably more are needed, but I wouldn't be blinded to the fact there is a...

    Liberal fluff.

I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to throw Walmart under the bus compared to say Target. This just in today. Walmart holiday hiring to outpace U.S. retail industry | Reuters

    Liberal fluff.

In most cases you can't borrow your way out of debt unless you are producing revenue with the borrowed money. Not the case with government. Education as you mentioned for investment, is a poor investment. The department of education should be shut down. We as a country spend more than any other...

    Help

If Tristate said you were qualified and then said you weren't upon arrival, they should step up and buy you a bus ticket home. Not exactly a high dollar item. I would go with the others thoughts. Stay away from the business if you are underfunded. I wouldn't even consider it if you have a...

Best company to sign on with

Before venturing out, I would go back and read Turtle's post again. Remember that vanning in a saturated and turbulent economy can be risky. Don't put out there what you can't afford to lose. Keep in mind, you can make money in Vegas as well.

    Obama lied?

This is what most see as that Obamacare confidence builder. That now includes many democrats.

    Obama lied?

At one time that was true. Not much any more. That is why you have some like Aetna are bailing out because they would lose money. Same with Allstate in many states. Limiting coverage or bailing out all together because the losses are too high. Then of course we could look at social security...

    Is America crazy?

We as a people create the circumstances we have. It goes to who we elect because we are too stupid to know any better, we vote for looks/pizazz rather than substance, the breakdown of the family, greed in the wrong places, and a government that primarily exists only for its own gratification...

    We want to drive...

Your best bet is to get her a cdl. How to go about that depends on what state you are in. Then you have to decide what type of vehicle you are planning on driving. From there you would start looking at carriers and or fleet owners. I wouldn't rush to buy a truck unless you really know what you...

    Obama lied?

This is basically another redistribution of money. If the goal was to reduce premiums and increase coverage, they would have it set up to purchase across state lines. It was clearly left out because it is a problem if you went to single payer system.

    Stay away from Mello Carriers!!!

Looks very nice. Just another example of fleet owners taking advantage of drivers.

    What's fair and equitable

Ummm....no I wouldn't say that. I would probably throw Landstar in there as well for a single leased operator. I would say you can get to those numbers if you broker your own loads, but of course that carries much more costs and madness to operate. Ask me how I know. Part of the reason...

    Obama lied?

With Obamacare, the new regulations only allow insurance companies to make a mandated 20 percent profit. Doesn't look like they will be cleaning house, in fact some like Aetna are pulling out. At the end of the day, the grand master plan is to have a government single payer system.

    Sleep Apnea?

A attempt for more regulations is in the works. Got this in the mail today. Dear OOIDA Member, At the urging of OOIDA, legislation to prevent the FMCSA from issuing policy on sleep apnea screening, testing and treatment without conducting an analysis of that policy’s costs and safety...
