I would have to agree with Col on this one. You would still have customers telling you what they want, when they want things done, or how they want things done. Then you have to collect on your freight bills.

What's really funny is some of the people posting are 1st time posters. Some people on EO got copies of the drivers settlement sheets that was E-mailed from ES and the settlement sheets don't lie. But I'm don't with this.

The problem I have with your story is if you didn't have time to clean the truck. Why did ES charge the drivers that got into the truck that was dirty $125.00 to clean a truck that was left cleaner than they got it when they parked back at Panther after they quit. Now I seen with my own eyes...

Yes most owners pay drivers on assessorial charges. My drivers get 100% od the unloading and 100% for the use of our pallet Jack even when we don't have to give the all of it. I do because it is hard work.

Roberts Express did it the right way. They did things on GOOD SERVICE and remembered what got them to where the was. The customers and the drivers. Panther is very much like the old Roberts Express was. I hope they keep doing things to keep the customers coming back.

The Heathcare bill passed and what does it mean to Expediters. If you don't get heathcare now you will be fined $750.00 per person ot 2.5% of your income.

For those of who have been in this business and remember Roberts Express. If someone bought the company that owns the name and changed the name back to Roberts Express. Would you sign on with Roberts Express if it went back to the way it was before the name change?

I think that is just paid deadhead. Uncounted miles are some of the 100 miles I think we give up. The uncounted miles are off by more than 10,000 miles.

Yea I know my is doing the same thing, I talked to Panther last week about it. They are aware of it and hope to have it fixed soon. I'm happy with Panther and wish we would have moved sooner to be honest. Panther reminds me of the way Roberts Express was before they was bought out.
