I have NO problem with taking education out of the hands of the State and Federal Governments. I believe that ALL education should be local. NO teacher should ever be allowed to strike. They should have to produce. No more silliness like graduating people who cannot read or write.

The low pressure system is coming up from Indiana. We are experiencing the "wrap around" winds off the front side of the low as it passes south of us. That gives us an east wind. It kinda works like a NorEaster off the coast.
