For the Newbies to Think About

If the income you have now allows you to save up enough to pay cash for a Sprinter and have $20,000 in savings you might want to reconsider getting back in to the business at this time. It sounds to me like you are doing fairly well in these tough economic time. Be thankful.

HOW do big rig drivers do it?

The smart ones are parked somewhere safe. The ones you see driving on ice will eventually pay the price for there actions. Posted with my Droid EO Forum App

    A Slow Start This Year

It sure was a slow first week of the month. We went back in service Tuesday, not really expecting to get anything out of Florida. And our expectations held true. We are heading north on Sunday to get back in the freight lanes. Anyone else slow or moving well?

    Wanted: Used lift gate

Thanks for the offer but I have barn doors and have to be able to load on docks that have dock locks. That's why I need a tuck a way style.

    Dock time?

    NY tolls

I agree. Avoid it unless it pays really, really good. Last time we went to JFK it took 4 hours to get back to New Jersey. If I were in charge of the roads and bridges in the northeast I would be too embarrassed of the road conditions to charge a toll. It seems to me that if you have to pay extra...

    Mercedes MBE 4000 Glow Plugs?

I start the truck every three days when at home and run it for about 15-30 minutes. I keep a battery charger on it to keep the batteries up. It turned over easily but did not fire up. After the third try it fired up like it normally does. Like maybe something had warmed up. That's why I was...

    Mercedes MBE 4000 Glow Plugs?

It was 19 degrees this morning. Our pick up has glow plugs and an idiot light to tell you they are working. The Mercedes didn't have an idiot light and I have never had to do a cold start before. I guess I should have left the key turned on for a minute before attempting to start it.

    Mercedes MBE 4000 Glow Plugs?

Does a 2006 Mercedes MBE 4000 have glow plugs? I had to do a cold start this morning and I was beginning to think it wasn't going to start. Should have plugged in the block heater.
