120/60 was considered the "norm" when I was in EMT school so many moons ago. The 80 is a bit on the high side, for old school that is.
As to medical people knowing, there was a time, not all that long ago, when it was taught that high blood pressure was good. Who knows what will be next?
I do...
Military base can be a pain. Your dispatch SHOULD have worked it out for you. Should every have wasted all that time/fuel etc. You not having spent time in the military does not help either. You don't understand governmentesse or the like. 9 out of 10 times I can figure out the military part...
Are we sure it is not the week before Christmas? I just cannot get over, one, how few load offers we have seen, and two, how poorly they are paying. IF this were to continue it would not pay to stay in business for sure.
For us older people it is the opposite. They want to RAISE the numbers before we start taking meds, not lower them. I have NO idea what the DOT dudes will do with this.

There are those out there for sure. I am speaking of reefer loads I have seen today. HORRIBLE pay! Money losers no matter how one would try to make it sound, and yet, they get covered.
Work more, make less, is NEVER good.
From the load offers I have seen today it would seem that they have gone to the same flat (crap) rate they pay surface trucks. What is even MORE amazing, and much worse, is there are trucks taking these loads! No wonder rates are falling.
Anyone buying a used truck should get a good inspection done, somewhere other than the dealership selling the truck. Hopefully by someone that you know and trust. It should be more than a DOT inspection, and don't forget the "little stuff" like having it weighed and measured.
"I feel alot of medically safe drivers will be disqualified due to the overly strict medical standards imposed by the FMCSA and the law suits are coming."
This is a very true statement. FMCSA has NO intention of using sound, proven, medical science, when crafting rules (laws that are not...
