    2nd fuel tank?

I thought about it back in 2005 when I bought my Sprinter, but decided against it since it wasn't needed. I have a 26 gal tank and it lasts for 600+ miles. I usually pass through a cheaper state by the time I burn through 26 gallons. Gotta love a diesel.

    My blown engine story.

You are just like me. When something breaks, I have to take it apart to see why it broke. Let us know what you find out.

Lol. It has been cheap freight day every day for years now. Driving for the same rate today as in 1992 is cheap. At home.

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

The small gas engines don't have that much low rpm torque, so any sight of a hill signals a downshift. If you want torque, and no downshifts, get a diesel. This is the reason I won't consider a gasser. I wanted to go and test drive a diesel Transit, but changed my mind. What about if I like it...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

I woudn't be too worried about that guy's flex plate breaking. Even if the post was legit, every once in a while a bad part slips through. Does not mean that all of them have problems. My friend's ProMaster passed 50k miles and all seems good so far. A while ago he felt the transmission...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

I called it Dodge, my bad, should have said RAM. I don't really know the difference. I did not look into it since I am not interested in it at all. However, the dealer that he went to is a RAM dealer. I guess I will inform him about the RAM Commercial Truck dealer. So basically, there is not...

    Cargo Van Dodge ProMaster

My friend with his ProMaster stopped at a Dodge dealer in Dalton, GA the other day trying to get an oil change. He goes in, asks how much for an oil change on a ProMaster. The guy behind the counter goes "Pro what?" My friend pointed outside towards his ProMaster. The guy goes "never heard of...

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

I agree, and then I subtract some more for the dpf. But still, the new 4 cylinder gets pretty good fuel mileage based on what I hear from other expediters. Remains to be seen if it is just as reliable as our 5 bangers. Sent from my SM-G900P using EO Forums mobile app

    My 2015 Ford Transit Experience

I like the Ford Transit. I like the Promaster also. I hope they do good and put some pressure on Mercedes so I can buy myself a cheaper Sprinter. Now why do I say this? 1. I couldn't care less that there are more Ford dealers than Mercedes. My sprinter has visited a dealership twice in 625000...

How long do you stay out ?

If I remember correctly, the most I've been out is 3 weeks, but that was back in the day when freight was plentiful. More recently, if Friday comes around and not a good chance of a load, I drive home. Cheaper that way than to stay out 3 days or more.
