    credit repair service

Oh yeah, by the way. I'd appreciate it if only those that have never hauled over their GVW weight reply to my comments as I'd rather not have dishonest drivers accuse me of being dishonest. :D

    credit repair service

The law allows me to challenge any item on the report, regardless of who feels it may or may not be valid. That's a fact. THEN, the credit bureau asks the company that filed the item on the report to verify. THEN, if they don't verify within a certain time, the item is to be removed BY LAW...

    credit repair service

Fraud? Illegal? Really? What is the law? Can you find it for me? We live in Michigan . . . perhaps I should be in jail? Actually, there are numerous errors on most credit reports, including some that used to be on mine. Those are gone. My ex-wife used my credit to get credit and then...

    credit repair service

Well, we hate to buck the trend here but the facts are that at least one credit repair company did what it said it would do, which was to increase my credit score "more than 50 points within two months". How they did it was simple, and that may be why some think it's a scam, I dunno. Of course...

    Swing out carrier for van

Handicapped with my poor phone camera, I took these pictures of our 1st generation carrier, which we still use. The new design incoporates a knuckle hinge, which prevents grease from getting on your pant leg. The galvanized hood attaches firmly with just 1 bolt and the carrier swings open by...

    Swing out carrier for van

I'll show this to my partner back home next week. I have no idea if he will want to tackle the attachment to the door. Obviously, that's critical to the longevity of the whole thing. The two advantages we have with the current design is that we've proven it to ourselves that it will last and...

    Swing out carrier for van

Shouldn't be a problem fitting one on a CV, or a pick-up, or trailer . . . so long as it has a regular trailer hitch receiver. I would think the hitch to door dimension would be similar but we can check it for fit.

    Swing out carrier for van

Yes, because it's designed with different pivot points than the doors, you can easily open your Sprinter doors the entire 270 degrees they are designed to.

    Swing out carrier for van

We sell them for $550 plus shipping, but we might be able to save some on that as we are all over as we work for E-1 and might be able to meet you somewhere. We are out right now but will return within a week or so. PM us for more info. We have a brochure we can send as soon as we return...

    straight truck without CDL

Express-1 Safety Department requires a scale ticket less than 1 month old and then they will check your sill plate GVW rating before they put the decals on and sign the truck lease. Was this already done and was it somehow falsified? At any rate, the DOT will catch up to you one day if it is...

What do you like and dislike?

We hate being required to buy occupational accident insurance! We have our own comprehensive health insurance along with long-term disability but it seems carriers want this other insurance as well, even though it doesn't cover them. It seems like it should be an owner's decision and carriers...

    This Has To Be Answered

When it comes to post such as these, where someone feels someone else has done a wrong, I personally feel that it would be much better for just those two parties to post. Honestly, I just don't see how provocative, inflamitory, or one-liners can add to an already sensitive conversation. I...

    Speaking Freely on EO

What carriers are taking on vans?

Yeah, non-trucking liability is required (and for good reason!) in Michigan and probably a lot of other places too. In addition, anyone hauling freight, under their own authority or the carrier's, better have cargo liability. If you don't, the liability is ALL yours!

    Dodge Sprinter Freight

Unless you change the floor so you can take 48"+ wide skids, you aren't going to get enough action to make it worthwhile.

    Isuzu Eco Max

I read the specs too. It actually says, "Body/Payload Allowance - 6,315 to 6,453" My dealer says that is the total allowed for the body and payload together. Knowing that fiberglas body has to weigh close to 2,000 lbs., I stand by what the dealer told us while we were standing there looking...

    Speaking Freely on EO

Let's not speak completely freely. Rather, those that say naughty things should pay $1 per into "the pot". Then use that money for a Christmas party! :D

    Isuzu Eco Max

We just took a long look at one at our local dealership. Here's what we think; 1. The inside length of the box is a STUPID 15' 10". What idiot decided to miss 16" inside legth by 2 INCHES!?!? 2. We were told the Isuzu got "20 MPG in a real world test". We must have looked like we were...

    Portable Generator?

    1. Yes, in fact several generators have a small amp (6-10) 12 volt output just for that. If you don't have that kind, you can buy a small charger to maintain your batteries. 2. No, you should not (probably cannot) try to run a rooftop air off an inverter. Even if it works, it won't work for...
