because they are high now....and the open market, competition should drive them down...right now I doubt insurance carriers really know what direction it is going....especially with the government meddling and muddying up the water...

of course if you want a low deductible your rate will be higher...I chose the middle road...not like 5,000 and not like a 1,000....seems like the best deal for my budget....my thinking is: why pay $100 a month or $1200 a year more just to save MAYBE the difference of a 2,000 deductable I may...

I know before the ACA ...coverage was prohibitive....VERY high rates and almost non existent because of pre existing condition crap....NOW insurance carriers are forced to actually compete....In a few years I see prices dropping as insurance carriers compete for the ones that need covering...

I haven't a clue....Never had to BUY insurance before....I don't have a clue if it is a good price for the coverage or not....less then 500$ now....from the high risk pool of $800....
