I can understand their target market. Hopefully the company is willing and flexible enough to work with expediters. Finally! All of the GM SRW cube vans I have seen are built on the short wheelbase. 159" wheelbase would match up well with a 14' box. I personally would prefer 12' of cargo...

    Swine-Avian Flu

Image that very same truck traveling through Chicago, Detroit and Toronto leaking infected swine juice on the roadway and other vehicles. Now imagine that trucker doing a physical inspection of the damage and then bellying up to the Flying J trough. Certainly an "end of the world as we know...

    Haz-mat regulations

Both Minnesota and Wisconsin experimented with this a couple of years ago. A warning sign displayed a message that a lane was closed 2 miles ahead. As one got closer, the signs said lane closed ahead. Never stating which lane. The idea was that people would take turns merging. I think it...

    Why no trailers??

I believe that is exactly the reason Con-Way Now sold off their trailer fleet. At least the trailers that were still salable. The drivers loaded several thousand pounds of freight in the trailer and nothing in the van.

    Why no trailers??

Con-Way Now tried pulling trailers behind cargo vans in 1996 with the idea of being able to haul more freight. These were company owned vans and trailers. After a few months the idea and the trailers fell by the wayside. Was any E.O. member at Con-Way then? Does anyone remember this setup...

Has anyone here seen my old friend Lyman? Can you tell me where he's gone? He freed a lot of people.... Lyman Bostock got shot by a jealous husband. Lyman was innocent. He had just met the woman but her husband thought otherwise. Poor Lyman was in the wrong place at the wrong time. I...

He must have done someone wrong. Euclid or Pythagoras should be able to explain it. I sure his death had something to do with geometry.

    Swine-Avian Flu

Trucks collide with birds and pigs thousands of times daily in this country. Trucks are the number 1 form of dissemination for swine and avian flu. I'm not sure about the Hong Kong flu though.

    Haz-mat regulations

On an urban freeway with three or more lanes, the right lane is generally designated for local traffic (exiting and entering) and the other lanes are for through traffic.
