    Tri states ?

Could be. I know I am. You must be too. There's a question for you in the 48" high thread. I'm also curious. I am having a difficult time getting answers to questions about the extra weight and cost from Vision. I get replies from Chevrolet dealers but most are not HCV specific and the...

That could also apply to idtrans. I would suggest the addition of an "i" and an "o", randomly dispersed of course!

    Tri states ?

If you're going to post truckstop rumors; especially if you have seen the truck belonging to the driver of the origin of the rumor, and recognize the logo on the truck, is it asking to much to correctly identify the company that is the subject of the rumor?

    Which Droid phone?

Leo, what 4G phone did you get? I know this is short notice but I am going to Verizon tomorrow and still riding the fence. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

    Tri states ?

I believe the Colonel was referring to your generic use of the word "tristates". Did the man driving the big truck have logos that looked similar to this: . I hope this little misunderstanding between you and the Colonel didn't move him ahead of me on your list of people you would like to "meet".

    Saturday morning Heroes

Yes they have toilets in Atlantis. The same thing happens when a toilet flushes in Atlantis as when a low flow toilet flushes in the United States, NOTHING!

    US Express Van Deal

Many don't care about the rate per mile, but the total miles. If you fall into that category then here's a guaranteed 2100 miles a week at $1470. If you live in the origin city deadhead would be almost nil and you would be home every weekend.

    Tag Axle Question

I believe you are referring to a lift axle. A lift axle only needs to be down to supplement the legal load capacity of another axle or group of axles. A tag axle is always down.

What is the size of the time critical "road" freight market?

Again you must define "expedite". That $3.4 billion includes TL and LTL carriers' "expedite" service, which I consider to be outside the scope of my narrower definition.

What is the size of the time critical "road" freight market?

Speed and quickness are part of exclusive use. You can't honestly sell dock to dock service if you are picking up other customer's freight also. If you pick up a 1000 pound skid from a customer and have a delivery time based on 47 mph and go to another customer to pick up another 1000 pound...

    Walcott Iowa (Pork Cuttlets)

The picture of the pork cheek in the local harvest link looks delicious! I did a quick perusal of the article and found no mention of "cutlet". I did enjoy 2 walleye cheeks this past spring, about the size of a 50 center. Up here in Minnesota we call them cheeks, ya. What's the latest on the...

What is the size of the time critical "road" freight market?

If a shipper is paying top dollar for exclusive use then he should be able to throw a seal on the truck and not worry about some moron at your next pickup spearing his freight with a forklift tine. Or another shipment containing a 55 gallon drum of urine samples from a drug testing consortium...

    Question

As Dakota indicated, yes there are. But there are probably more opportunities that do require a CDL. Why limit yourself? Is there a particular reason why you are looking at companies that don't require a CDL?
