to add... WHY...do we have to do a DOT physical? Why do we have to do maintenance reports? that is mind boggling as well.....:)

Some customers ASK for a sprinter and some carriers will bill them for one and send a CV because it will fit....BUT.....the many times the customer has scheduled 2 skids BUT they end up with 3 instead, hence the request, the smarty dispatcher and the CV driver just got screwed....more the CV...

it doesn't matter Murray....drivers would lament if they were making $4,000 a week.....a bunch of grumpy ole men like me.....LOL

WE have our faults as well.....every carrier does.......it is the kind of faults and what you can tolerate that make the difference.....if you are young and want to grow...Load 1 is the best choice in my book....an owner who's ear is open to your suggestions.

these guys in sprinters that won't take a cv load because it pays a CV price are just shooting themselves in the foot....slow death.....carriers will just put on more CV's to get the CV loads covered and the sprinters/cubes will sit.....looks good on them!

If it is a true CV load....none.....after all a sprinter/Transit is just a CV with MORE load opportunities! We are NOT special nor should we be....

That is exactly why I don't do Canada...my carrier sucks at getting return loads....besides they have Canadians up there twiddling their thumbs....the premium in NO way pays for the extra DH to get out...and I am Canadian and I won't go..LOL

On the diesel models looks to be no difference....depending on options. Sprinter does not offer gas.

At E-1 they used to "save" me for the bigger loads....CV's would be coming in and out...I'd sit...Why I ask one day.....saving you for the big one....DOH!!

Gas CV's are paid too much!!!.....FSC should be calculated on the National average of GAS...not diesel.....
