Nope...not until the one he has expires.....then he will have to...I went and got mine 3 months earlier before the deadline...you don't have to wait for the old one to expire...

There was a typo on my last exam....the SD DOT caught immediately....had 30 days to report with corrected version or license would be suspended....amazingly my carrier is the one that does not even look at them for correctness....they missed it!

There are literally hundreds and hundreds of small carriers out there....what we have here represents MAYBE a mere 5 % of the industry......
