we've had driverless trains and planes for years and we still can't take the hands off the wheels....how long do you think it'll be for trucks barrelling down the road?......

unfortunately now more shippers and customers are cost aware..they'll call and say hey $1,000 for a Wednesday...OR $185 for Thursday...do you really need it that badly...

actually rates have not come down....only the FSC has dropped as it should....I see LTL is about 10.5% yesterday last year it was around 30%......80-90 is about right for a CV on average.

and 1 software malfunction and the system comes to a stop...as we are aware ECM failures with software are a fault for us to deal with...imagine a truck unmanned with a software problem and can not be controlled...we will not see this in our lifetime nor our childrens lifetime...heck RC trains...

most of what we do is really inventory control now.....IMO....I hear a lot of.."I wasn't expecting this till tomorrow" or "I'll just put it over there with the other 34 skids that just came in".....
