its the whole darn system pushing rates down....carriers, Brokers, 3PLS and now 4 PLS and maybe even 5 pls....so many taking their piece of the pie even before the guy doing the real work sees anything....insurance is a small cause, very small.........not even .05 a mile by my numbers...

Driving down rates?......they are the same as the year before last....base rate that is....are straights getting pushed down maybe? TALKING BASE not with fuel...
