    Cargo Van CIS news!

I hope this is a joke... who would risk his business to hire unlicensed drivers?

    Cargo Van CIS news!

That's what the carrier asked me to have, the rest is covered by them.

Dave, I'm confused as well as you. They're not. And for what I know, it's mandatory, it's not optional.

Try Hours covers the cargo insurance, but there's a 2000 deductible that has to be paid by the driver in case of an accident. Here comes the buyback thing, that'll cover the deductible if something happens... at least that's what they told me... anyway, it's something that I strongly disagree.

From my POV, it's new form of making some extra bucks... it covers the cargo's deductible ($2000 deductible) in case of an accident...

I asked the same question, why do I have to get charged every week another $5 for deposits through Comdata. The answer was short, "because they're working only through Comdata". So, it's some sort of "love it or leave it"...

I realize that it's slow as slow can be, but when I have to put money from my own pocked to pay the drivers because they have so many charges that cannot be covered not even by the driven miles, TH is no longer a viable option

Cargo Van Did they act fair?

Back in April the dispatch sent me for a pickup, not too far from my place, I'd say about 25 miles away. I got there, they had two pallets weighing 1700 lbs each. Originally, when I was dispatched, I was told 2 skids / 340 lbs, so it looks like somebody forgot to add another zero. Now being an...
