Buying sprinter vs 10-14k GVWR box truck?

I used to enjoy passing the DRW vans pulled over in Ohio...driver getting an expensive education It's common sense, if it was legal everybody would have one, no point to our vans except under 10k

    Van barely turning on

Sounds better than mine...once your deep cycles are in, there's many ways to hook em up but I always include the ability to have them all connected for cranking (never had a winter no start, -44 even) The delay in firing is probably it calling the EPA for permission to idle:D

    Welcome September

Had a 500 dollar run 4 hours ago, but I had to say no because wife was out pokemoning. I see a 3 week trip in my future. As it is I have to bring rice cooker and canned chili till the next pay. It was 1000 miles, so I can congratulate myself on not running for a cheap customer, too bad I can't...

Agh, that's a lot of work. Back to the board over the front seats idea:D My espar heating the cab would probably be best experienced from the cab

    Cargo Van 1 pa-pallet, 2 pa-pallet 3pa-pallet four...?

Traacker, rolling the interior with foil bubble wrap gives a noticeable difference and is QUICK...getting out on the road making money should be priority, comfort can come later... Keep the ideas coming everybody, my next time out I'd like to camp at the home Depot and winterize...im officially...

    Cargo Van 1 pa-pallet, 2 pa-pallet 3pa-pallet four...?

If I insulate, I was going to finish the walls in that thin stuff they use in gas station bathrooms and walk in fridges, comes shiny and they have thin strips to cover the seams...its either textured or smooth and very tough, like tile board without the tiles, what's it called? Edit: think I...

Luan must be an American thing, sounds like a Dennys waitress Found it, at 1 store, like 1" MDF for speakers, hard to find north of the border...learned something new...its like what they make those $20 interior doors out of

    2014 Promaster...where is the battery?

Hope you got it running ;) it took a tow truck plus two booster packs to start me after I killed both batteries with my laptop, was a diesel 10 years ago now. My first "breakdown":D

    Cargo Van 1 pa-pallet, 2 pa-pallet 3pa-pallet four...?

If I get smashed, I'm not paying the local rate of 10,000 for an 05 I'd try for a 4 cyl...i have a thread on mine somewhere, paid 2900 US for mine with 180000 miles on it (in truck talk)... I'll now defer to the people that actually own newer Sprinters to answer questions

    Cost Of Equipment Funding

I've done this once, so I'll go easy...things to think about: -MUST be unlimited miles -you have to do repairs and maintenance payments while you keep up with the truck payments -a "write-off" is not a tax credit...example an individual paying 1000 a month would get a real life tax savings of...

    Tires

Thanks for the warning, my first set got 200,000 miles (when they had just come out) but they usually "cheapen" a design when it's been out for a while, in my experience

    Cargo Van 1 pa-pallet, 2 pa-pallet 3pa-pallet four...?

Yes, over thinking a bit. But you will have the bumper damaged fairly often, unless you are standing by the back ready to scream at the forklift driver (you should, every time). Options here are limited to something like a trailer hitch with a step bar or steel bump plate if you don't want that...

    Welcome September

Forgot to mention, in Canada it reversed again, I last filled up with diesel at 0.849 a litre and gas was around .95 Thanks for the banter everyone, for now the best van for me seems to be sitting in my driveway...maybe I'll get some time to hassle a dealer or two today...
