    April 2020 Fools & Follies

Thank you. (For reminding me why I have an old sprinter) To me, it's 25% of what I paid for it 4 years ago. And likely exceeding the current value. Trying to make sure I'm in position to get what I want later. I have a feeling we aren't seeing the "pandemic pricing" yet, but we will Oh...

Cargo Van Will we be able to work through Coronavirus?

Never thought i'd live to see it. They're calling in the Army. No, that's not what I mean. Toronto calls in the Army for 2 inches of snow. They called in the Army to OLD AGE HOMES. End of days, people :tonguewink:

He's not far from me, but I don't want to get into freight charges - plus cross border Wrong place to break down, there's thousands of old delivery sprinters in Toronto making the used market hard I'm good with $600 for brand new sks bearings. The rest is tools I'll have forever, that I've...

Is this the right place to complain my rearend rebuild will cost $600 in parts and $400 in tools? No? No sympathy? I believe it should have lasted longer than 450k miles, but the floppy driveshaft disagrees. Anyway no used units, and it's $800 for something with 200,000 miles if I shipped it...

Found the solution already! It would definitely help if I either got free fuel, or they paid me to take it. U.S. oil prices crash below zero for the first time in history |

Well, you seem to know the worst that could happen. People are just trying to say it likely will. So in other words, if you think it's a slam-dunk start. That is, when you find a source of freight There's one guy on here that simply found a bunch of drivers that take low pay and live in their...

It's a 2006. They came out with a much better version of the 6.0 later, maybe that's why? My 2003 Dodge Ram Van with a 5.2 got 15 highway. So I dunno... but yeah it had 1200 lbs of natural gas tanks BEFORE the freight was added.... Sent from my SM-A705W using Tapatalk

That's the rub. Very very few companies allow that for obvious reasons Mine does, but it's the result of a lawsuit before it was bought out by a huge company. They lost the ability to call us self-employed while telling us what to do, and how and where to do it Most I've known who take their...

Not in Ontario Canada but you likely don't have to worry about that. It's the cross border. They want to control and minimize risk. They view me the same as a transport truck, and can't help but worry about $100 million dollar lawsuits against a single vehicle. Being under 10k lbs they also...

    April 2020 Fools & Follies

Now my typical 24 hours of internet searching - step 1 to find parts for a rearend I've found a rebuild kit as cheap as $300 and an entire NOS differential from a local dealer for $16,600 Going to total up the special tools I don't have + parts against the junkyard options... I had found an...

100-115 kmh depending. If something is wrong with that mileage for a 6.0 Chevy conversion van, say something, I'll check it out, but I've heard from quite a few that's normal. It would have likely got the same mileage at 160 kmh, or idling in the driveway from my experience
