It usually get louder when it is due for service, then diminishes after the service....nothing you can do except either slow down or speed up a bit....its like the torque converter is locking up.. It is something we live with and all know about...it is a sprinter quirk...:D You'll also notice...

Our contracts state NO drugs or alcohol...pretty much says it all there...

What you've heard is somewhat normal..can't remember but we with sprinters have a name for it....has to do with the torque converter...our Turtle or RLent could chime in here...

I would imagine if one tests positive...it would be tough luck for the driver...since if he/she drives under FMSCA rules they'd be under federal law, not state...

Observation.... The American people expect a mountain of services from our federal government and now many people cannot understand why the government spends so much money. Every time a problem arises, people expect the government to solve it. The federal government is involved in our food...
