    Government Can Require Gun Registration

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." Infringe, frangere, to break, and infringere to break or weaken, even in the smallest fraction thereof. What part of "infringed" do these judges...

What is killing all my walmart fridges?

Absolutely. If you look at my original reply, you'll see where it says: The compressor kicking on and off can be caused by two things, one is low or no refrigerant (freon), the other is low voltage (which over time will kill the compressor). Borrow another inverter and check it out. Borrow a...

What is killing all my walmart fridges?

OK, first, Optima batteries are a type of AGM battery, and a generic almost certainly isn't. It's a way bad idea to mix AGM and wet batteries in the same setup, mainly because they each require different charging parameters, and they will discharge at different rates. It's best to use the same...

    The Next Sarah Palin?

Clearly then, we should have elected Hilary. <rimshot>

    The Next Sarah Palin?

That's very sexist and narrow minded only from the male point of view. Bill Clinton was clearly a pilf for most of the women (and a few men, I suspect). The trouble is in finding a Republican who can be a pilf. The Republicans haven't had that since Reagan, who was one hunka-hunka burnin' well...

    The Beemer???

Next to be banned? Uhm, he was banned a long time ago for making online threats. Then he was banned again (under a different screen name) for the same thing. Come on, man, you gotta stay on top of these things. You're giving us Kentuckians a bad rep. People think we're slow on the uptake as it is.

Sprinter as a family transport vehicle

It really depends on the service history. Sprinters are very popular for RV conversions here, as well as many other applications. In Europe they are the standard for shuttles, as well as ambulances. Then again, in Europe they treat it like a European vehicle and maintain is as such. Maintenance...

    Decision on Mod Issue

Someone once said.... "...this was proprietary info the fed did not want shared. They had every right to get it removed using the fastest means possible." For some inexplicable reason, a lot of people seem to agree with that. I'm still trying to figure out how and why FedEx had that right...

What is killing all my walmart fridges?

There's a bunch of what-if's here, bunch of unknowns. Is the inverter running off a dedicated house bank, or off the regular truck batteries? How many? Total amp hours? The compressor kicking on and off can be caused by two things, one is low or no refrigerant (freon), the other is low voltage...

    Overhead Costs

If you are an owner/operator who drives your own vehicle, worker's compensation is not generally available to you. The alternative is Occupational Health Insurance, which will cover you for a work related injury. In only covers work related injuries, same as worker's comp.

    A doctor responds to Obama's NYT op-ed

Precisely. Doctors who give their names will also give everything else. This would be particularly true of Dr. Clark who would have a hefty position of credibility, if he were the one to have actually written this letter. He is a retired gastric bypass surgeon who pioneered several procedures...

    Overhead Costs

It's different for each carrier, but at mine it's $35 a week for the Qualcomm, $24.89 for bobtail insurance, and $17.47 for my Occupational Health Insurance. So, that's $77.36 a week. There is also the matter of the escrow which needs to be funded, which might be anywhere from $1000 to $2000...

I'm not taking that bait, either, Troll. I already told you what name I think you should use. BTW, nice attempt at the new "persona" with the no caps and stuff, but three of your posts have already given you away.

Yeah, you've been saying let them die in threads all over the forums, nearly to the point where it has become SPAM. Why not just go back to your original screen name and be done with it?

I Hate To Say I Told You So, But......

They're backpedaling awfully fast. They say the government option isn't the foundation for health care reform, yet the government options is the only way the government can control the "spiraling costs" of health care. They have to get that option out there, then make it the better cheaper...

    Lets openly discuss this

Because he wouldn't have otherwise had the opportunity to say that while EO doesn't set FedEx policy, they will enforce it. <giggle> FWIW, I don't think Terry should lose his deserved status as a moderator, but I do think he should not edit or delete any post that has anything to do with FedEx...
