I'm guessing it just needs to be properly bled. I recently changed out my brake fluid (it's hydroscopic, so you need to remove and renew it every couple of years). Properly bleeding it requires a DRBIII tool with the Sprinter module, and it's a 2-man job to do it right.

Do read this post, to either (possibly) confirm or deny that it's a problem.

    Owner and driver contract

If he said it to you like that, you are. He can suggest, but he cannot order you to go or not go somewhere, as only an employer can do that. If the driver takes three weeks off, then the owner gets the percentage of not very much that month. The owner cannot force the driver to get back out on...

Sad news, we've lost a member.

We had talked a few times on the phone, but most recently we had been PMing back and forth about several things, mostly his upgrading of his house battery bank and the use of an auxiliary charging system, and all the associated hardware to get it going. He had just about gathered all of it...

    Owner and driver contract

There are not that many absolutes when it comes to employee versus independent contractor, but "ways and means" of doing the job, and the requiring of a certain number of, or a minimum number of working days are two of them which instantly turns the independent contractor into an employee. An...

    GPS Laws

Currently there are only 2 states (as far as I know) which prohibit sticking GPS and other stuff on the windshield - California and Minnesota. California law (effective January 1, 2009) permits it, but only in a 7" x 7" corner of the lower right or the 5" x 5" corner of the lower left portion...

Supreme Court says Quebec ethics course does not violate freedom of religion

Some of us are Canadian. The Internet is not a country. It's also interesting to see how certain issues are handled in other countries. It also afford some people the opportunity to rag on government involvement in anything. In addition, it provides valuable page hits.

Supreme Court says Quebec ethics course does not violate freedom of religion

Religious studies, which is comparative religions, is not really all that different from history or social studies. But, "They claimed the class violated their freedom of religion by forcing their children to be exposed to religious beliefs that were different from the family's," is very...

    Where's the Panther freight?

Unless they can show a valid reason for having to swap it out to comply with DOT regulations or to properly service the customer, yes, it is. They get around that with, "At 47 MPH you don't have enough time to make the scheduled delivery and take a five hour break." They will often have you...

What is the most famous Expedite trucks.

They may not remove the logos, but they certainly could add bumper stickers and other things which would make it unacceptable for branding. As for the "already thought of" aspect of Photoshopped pictures, that's laughable. You can Photoshop something like crazy, and then easily remove all...

    Where's the Panther freight?

And yet there is a perfectly rational and valid reason for the rule. <shrug>

    Right idea, but..............

That's just too funny, Scott. LOL A lot of this is from the over-the-top fear resulting from the alarmist headlines and stories about child abductions being pandemic, when in reality child abductions aren't on the rise at all. But, in this particular case, Jonesboro, they have a right to be a...

    Where's the Panther freight?

Once you embrace the stupidity and know the rules and how to use them, you can go sight seeing whenever you want. I did. If you accept a load that is going to swap because of hours, and you don't already know that when you accept the load, it's your own fault. Know your hours, and if you...

    4 skid loads

My last load was a single 48x48 pallet with the freight hanging off all four sides. 55x55 is what it was. Had to break it down to two skids to get it in the Sprinter. 49 wide is my max.

How much control should government bureaucrats have

We disagree there. I don't see anything wrong at all with a school building having a cafeteria where the students can eat their lunch, whether they bring it from home or buy it at the school.
